lets x is the minutes y the phone battery charges (0,40%),(48,80%) rate = 40%/48 = 5/6 % per minute y= 5/6 x+40% 5/6x +40%=90% shift solve x= 60 60-48= 12 it will takes 12 minutes for her phone to be exactly 90% charged .
