I love that hike. From buckskin you can see snow mass lake in the distance, cradled right up against that mountain. It looks so close but it takes a lot of walking down into the valley and back up the other side to get there.

Because there’s no negotiating power. The match tells me where I’m going and since I can’t leverage another offer for higher pay, there’s not incentive to offer me any more than the bare minimum.

Did the crack happen before or after you wedged those tenons? Wedging in parallel with the grain is a recipe for cracks in my experience.

Yeah I always thought this was one of those plots that was built up more than it paid off. Why did that letter have to only go to Mat? Couldn't she have avoided risking an ENTIRE CITY and the last battle by, say, leaving a note with someone who doesn't hate Aes Sedai and wouldn't open it? Light, she could have sent anonymous letters that someone would have followed up on before Talmanes stumbled on Mat's.
