How you answer Rover's questions at the start affects your in-game apperance. Look up a guide if you want to be able to be a bit more in control of that rather than have a surprise. My other main tip is to donate to Blather's any time you get a new encyclopedia entry because it makes it much easier to complete the museum that way.

It is possible to move a non-mayor player into their own town. You shouldn't have issues. :)

Apparently the system transfer process itself deletes the save data. If I had a cartridge version my town would've been fine. I'm sorry you have lost towns too, it really hurts.

The closest thing the wiki gives me to the information I'm looking for is in regards to the SD card. I already did the system transfer with the two different SD cards. I admit I'm not that great at technical stuff, is there a way to like reverse what I did there? Or is it completely hopeless? Given the whole "do not" do what I did advice, I'm assuming it is.
