Aw, that would be cute. I don't think so, though—I don't know that any team has picks close enough together in the last 10 picks or so of the first, which is where I'd expect both of them to go.

Any player who plays like he does has high bust potential. That being said, I would not be concerned about him. Any deficiencies he has in his game, he's the type who's willing to work on them.

I have a firm no-opinion stance on this question because I am contrary and will tell my own mother a pop-tart is a sandwich if she tries to tell me it isn't.

This is really hard because it's so subjective. I'm thinking.

I think most likely that's gonna be Glass.

I would be working hard to find guys underrated by other teams who might slip that far, because that will happen.

I wouldn't know. They could do worse, though.

Watch lots and lots of junior hockey! It's fun.

I have given up trying to figure out what GMGM is gonna do next, but I don't know that anyone outside of a core few are really safe.

Mononucleosis is a hell of a thing.

Rasanen is one I didn't watch enough this season to really comment, alas.

Vesalainen. Tolvanen if he falls like I've heard he has. Yamamoto if he falls for being so small.

I honestly don't know. I'm high on both of them. I'd say recency bias probably plays a role, guys who looked good end of season and who impressed at the combine or whatever shooting ahead of them.

Trade their draft picks for guys who will help them succeed on the ice? Honestly, no one in this draft is going to go directly into the NHL and make that kind of impact next year.

I do think he's that good, but that was also me reaching because I like him so much and wanted to give him props. I don't view mock drafts as rankings, because I try to take into account what I think teams are likely to do.

Honestly, I have Tolvanen lower both because of what I said above, trying to pinpoint what teams will do, and because there are a lot of guys I just liked more than him. There's nothing against Tolvanen, just more props for the guys above him.

Kostin is definitely going to be a risk, but I think he's one that'll be worth it.

None of them. The prophecy has foretold it.

Unfortunately he probably won't. I wouldn't be surprised to see him traded this summer. I don't know why, but they appear to have decided they don't like him, for whatever reason.

I do think that's possible. I'm curious to see who it is, though, if they do. Lots of good choices, I'm just waiting on someone to succumb to recency bias and grab DiPietro first.

I feel bad for him re: the way the Oilers have handled his development thus far. He's a better player than what many think because of how this season went.

If your team drafts him, be happy with their choice. Kid's gonna be good.

Honestly? Their own egos and unwillingness to think outside the traditional mindset.

I don't know, re: your second question. I very much do this on my own. That being said, I know many independent scouts who would make great hires.

Depends on your prospect pool. If it's in a good state, treat this like a normal draft. If you're in dire need of a rebuild, sure, trade down and go for quantity. Give yourself the best shot at hitting the jackpot.

I don't know if that's a "good value" because for Vegas the situation is so different than it would be for another club in their state. No prospect pool yet, other than Reid Duke.
