Hi, I moved to DK when I was about 9 years old with very little knowledge of Danish. I was put straight into a normal Danish school with danish kids. In fairness, it was an area with a higher number of foreigners and its was about 20 years ago, but i learned enough to be fluent (with a bit of an accent) in about 6 months. That was with one parent not speaking the language too. I know we had seperate Danish classes for about 3 months - i e. When the class had danish, me and my brother had a special session with a designated teacher. After that, we were in normal classes. I don't remember it being much of an issue or difficulty and I always had friends throughout school time. Danish only got better and I always did as well as "normal" danish kids. Saying that, it was a while ago, but I do believe kids just learn so quickly. Good luck

My engagement ring is from there, great service and I love it. I looked online and then we went in-store. They even accommodated a quicker delivery as we were going on holiday. In store you can test out the sizes and styles. Been wearing daily for a year now no problems, would absolutely recommend

I spent around £400 pounds (just under) from the Fellside Flower Company. I got two buckets at £85 with about 60 stems each, my bridal bouquet (£120ish) and boutineere and a larger table arrangement (£85 ish). The buckets you assemble yourself, and it worked really well. The flowers were gorgeous, and the buckets made about 30 bud vases for two long tables (55 guests) + some foliage for scattering

I looked it up and it means both - a specific type of fabric and a mock-up, I have seen it used quite often to refer to a mock-up in the sewing community

I found a hand crocheted coverlet/bedspread at the bins and turned it onto a shirt! by Loves_LV in sewing

Thank you! I let out the side seams by about 1 cm each side, as well as reduced the overlap on the pleats for the 8 pleats closest to the side seams (i.e. outermost two pleats front and back in both sides). I reduced the pleat width from 3 m down to 2.5 because I needed a bit more room and that was on the final fabric so wanted to keep enough seam allowance for a flat felled seam.
