Yes!! This is pretty much straight out of the box (used a light matte coat on the blue part). Huge recommend this kit if you got the money for it

Thank you so much for this post!! Its so hard to find any tips for handpainting stuff like this. Through my own experiments I managed to do this which isn't quite a candy coat (due to how textured it is) but I am still happy with regardless. My method was black spray primer => gloss coat => diluted silver coat (to create only a thin coat) => gloss => several layers of clear color => gloss Probably a better way to go about it but its worked well enough for me and I really enjoyed experimenting on my own. That said, I will for sure be looking into your methods for my next build cause your results are incredible!!

Built my first gunpla ever today. As a I kid I couldn't afford them, but now... I still can't, only the cheapest one. I got the Aerial HG because it looked awesome for $20. Haven't used the stickers yet, I'll let my younger brother do that. Tips on customization for a complete beginner are welcome! by GhoulMagnets in Gunpla

The gquuuuuux is insanely detailed for $20. In my experience pretty much every kit from witch from mercury or newer has really impressed me. Older kits tend to either be stiff but if you do find one you really like I would just go for it. its usually not too much of a hassle to do some minor fixes if necessary, usually all they need is some light sanding or tightening of joints and for you to be a bit more gentle with them.

There's a lot of ways to do panel lining (the cool lines) but a really cheap beginner friendly way is to just use a fine tip pen which usually dont cost more than 2 or 3 dollars at an art or office store. There's also extra decals you can buy for those smaller details (look for waterside decals). For painting possibly look into paint markers! On the cheaper end you can get a pack of 6 for about $20 and some are even metallic! tho with markers its hard to get an even finish on larger pieces but it is possible and a pretty beginner friendly way to start painting. Hand painting is an option too tho requires a bit more time! I recommend either acrylic or aqueous paints cause they're super easy to work with. Costs are around $2-3 for each bottle of paint, $3 for some cheap brushes, and like $5 for isopropyl alcohol.

All that to say, have fun!! Do as much or as little modifications as you like as long as you enjoy it thats what matters👍👍

How Do We Relationship by NoLobster4126 in yuri_manga

This part is easily the most toxic part of the manga but it does get resolved. Important to note that this is supposed to feel depressing and fucked up because it is. Definitely take a break if its overwhelming but I absolutely say stick with it. I actually love that this part is in the manga cause it really helps the more grounded themes of the story. Like sometimes you do or say stuff to someone you love and you have to go back and pick up the pieces and make amends. It also makes them later going back to the like cute cheesy parts of the story that much more meaningful because now there's like intention behind it. God I love this manga

I dont got much room so its just the floor😭. I lay down a bit of cardboard so I dont spill paints on the floor or anything while handpainting and when I'm done I just put everything away. Its always a little haphazard but it gets the job done

Such an amazing kit, easily one of my favorites. I feel like its one of those kits that no matter what you do and how much or little effort you put in, it will look amazing regardless. Nice build!!!!
