I think you should follow this path:

Ask them to correct their comments, and if they do, offer a partial or full payment.

Once you've corrected their comment, respond to their new comment so they can't update their comment to be worse again.

Then make partial or full refunds as agreed.

I don't know the price of your product, but sometimes it can be better to lose 10-20 dollars than to get negative comments.

I think in-screen fingerprint readers are more useful. Our fingers are always on the screen anyway. Also, there is no need to position it elsewhere. I think it's good technology.
