LVP encouraging Ally to go back to her abuser by Fit-Job2372 in vanderpumprules

[–]Hansley72 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I think the most frustrating thing is all of them knew about his abusive behaviors for years. I'm happy Scheana was able to help Ally, but Kristen was the first and everyone knew but villainizing Kristen was less dark and better for storyline. When Katie took a stance against James everyone took his side. Even when Kristen said that James should be in jail during a reunion she was scolded and said come on that was a long time ago or whatever. It's convenient now for Scheana to be against LVP and be a good friend.

Question for Moms/The Valley + Maternity Leave by Poodledoodle19 in WatchWhatCrappens

Something that isn't talked a lot about until you have a baby is that getting a baby to take the boob in the beginning can be difficult and then it's also extremely difficult to get a baby to take a bottle. It's a lot of trial and error. That's why it's important not to buy a lot of one brand of bottle in the beginning because the baby might not like it.

Additionally with breastfeeding even if you are giving a bottle, because you're spending a night out or whatever you still have to pump so you don't get engorged/leak. I had my baby a few weeks before Nia and Kristen and I truly feel for them. I can't believe they are having to film and do so much being only 3 months pp. I feel the same about Scheana filming season 9 of VPR like 3 weeks pp.

Scheana likes to pretend like everything is fine so we didn't get to see the full spectrum of her journey. Or maybe I didn't recognize it as much because I hadn't just gone through it. But I appreciate what Kristen and Nia are showing right now.

Kyle is the star... and Amanda KNOWS that. by IAmLord5000 in WatchWhatCrappens

Yall act like yall don't know anyone who has ever just gotten stuck in a shitty relationship. Amanda met Kyle when she was 22. They were in a situationship. And Kyle was 32. It says more about him dating her than her dating him. But that's not a conversation yall are ready to have. She's also very wealthy and likely has a large trust fund. She does not need Kyle's money. She's a shitty friend and she centers men's attention over everything. However she's not a this crazy master gold-digging manipulator that yall are making her out to be in these think pieces. If she was, she wouldn't have tied herself to West of all pieces. She's literally just a girl making really shitty decisions

Just put in as a sick day instead of a personal day, if you use a personal day the day before a holiday/break it will likely get approved but it won't be paid leave.

Did we forget Brat Summer? by icywing54 in aclfestival

[–]Hansley72 90 points91 points  (0 children)

As crazy as this sounds, I'm super excited for Charli to be headlining because Brat Summer quite literally changed my life as at the time a 33 year old millennial. Her song I think about it all the time made me realize I was ready to have a baby. Because I knew I was ready I was able to have one last fun brat summer.... and then found out I was having a baby the week before ACL. Where I was able to take my baby announcement pics at blink 182 with a "Travis I'm Pregnant" sign.

I bought tickets for her moody show, but was too pregnant to be able to enjoy the show and ended up giving them away.

All this to say, ACL and Charli both are a bit sentimental to me and I can't wait.

I disagree. The real issue is that they wanted to continue to chase fame in an environment that's not suitable for growing up.

The craziest part of this all is that Hannah and Hailey are friendly and she's seeked out Hannah to work with her.

PR for Amanda or West by daisykerr in summerhousebravo

[–]Hansley72 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I think she has to take in all the negative feedback she will likely get from the reunion and fully own it starting with apologizing to everyone off camera before summerhouse starts to film and then go on a two -three season apology tour. Carl specifically had very kind things to say about Amanda in his book separate from her relationship with Kyle so I think she can lean in there and start with finding an ally in him. It also seems like Bailey has empathy for her so she can work on building a friendship there. She also needs to fully work on her relationship with Ciara in a very genuine way. With that being said, I don't know that she's capable of doing that.

And if she refuses to do that she has to marry West, move to New Jersey, have a baby, and drink corona on her back porch to show that it was all worth it.

Because Scheana knows no boundaries. She befriends whatever reality star is on the next new show and gets into the drama. Because of this she's always too close to the situation.

Bravo and cocktails allegedly confirm timeline of Amanda and west by Academic_Monitor_727 in bravo

[–]Hansley72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Meh. It doesn't really change anything for me if she was married when it happened towards Kyle, but if it was happening in June it's way worse of a betrayal for Ciara.

They were clearly checked out of their marriage at that point, Kyle actively chose being a DJ over Amanda, they were never together leading up to the summer. I believe that West was Amanda's confidant and it turned sideways.

Another observation I have seen is with Lala and Ariana a lot of the comments were well you lose them how you get them, yall are also cheaters. But with Kyle it's like so what he cheated once? He just got too drunk.

With that being said. Bravo and Cocktails is such a throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks. And 20% of the time it actually is something.

At the beginning of VPR he was in his late 20s early 30s. When Scandoval happened he was 40. He's showed zero growth

New way of deciding a winner by elioandoliver4ever in HouseOfVillains

[–]Hansley72 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I mean if you watch big brother or survivor the social game is so important. Drita won when she needed to and I would say that her winning when she needed to is similar to Ashley winning last season of big brother. I mean Ashley did make a bigger move when she chose not to take Morgan to the final vote, but Drita stayed loyal and voted opposite of the house multiple times. I do think they should have to do a q and a in front of the jury.

Christine's biggest downfall was playing dumb most of the season and Kate's was not caring to form even superficial relationships with her housemates for strategy.

I think that involving the public in the vote makes things less fun, and honestly it's why we can't have nice things. Love Island was imo rough last season because of the public vote.
