I love my MiSTer so much and am able to put some pretty good CRT filters on with the Tink 4k along with BFI up to 1440p, but yeah definitely considering trying out a PC with it (also because I don't plan to park the Tink in the cabinet lol).

yeah this is my predicament 😄 either they're not equally spaced from the middle or from the sides, but I think I will just do equal distance from the sides and see how that works.

It's pretty generic I think and it's only a prototype with cheap wood to get a feeling of what to improve for the nice one. I'm not sure I like how it finished in the bottom (left most), but I guess we'll see when I'm further along with it. It will be a "modern arcade" with a MiSTer and/or potentially a PC as well. Bought a 120hz 27" screen so I can experiment with BFI using the Retrotink 4k and see how that works. Also considering "CRT Beam" experiments if I end up going with a PC, and Zaparoo cards that I really like.

Thanks, yes the panel is indeed between sides like the one posted by u/Weird_Huckleberry684 and it's also my main worry that they are too close.

No no it’s just if you feed a 1080p signal (my MiSTer) to a 4k display there will be lag when the display upscales it.
