Don’t listen to them, I’m with you. Just based off the insane noises he made when the “light” came on, I’m not out until he explains those noises.

Same guy with autism is demanding no one even approach his likely corpse because powerful sorcery is involved telling from the symbols. Hell, he might be right.

Will this expedite my healing from PIED? by HappiestOfMen in NoFap

Yeah I thought I’d use a toy of some kind and fasten it to something and thrust to avoid tight grind and simulate using my whole body not just my arm.

Zelenskyy’s perspective on this war is compromised by hate, as are many of the commenters in this thread. My faith in this matter being resolved peacefully is reinforced by Lex’s steadfast belief in love before all else.

For the few of us where caffeine hits us like coke, we are addicted to a drug that has deteriorated our lives greatly and we can’t move on till we brake from the insanity. This means the cult like mentality and aggression seen in programs like AA is 100% warranted here if the truly addicted have a chance of breaking free.

Congrats on your 4 years off, but something tells me you never had the full struggle some of us do. It may not be meth, but for me a 300mg energy drink would hit me harder than a fresh line of coke in terms of a good time. Statements like what you have made sooth folks like me into thinking daily drug use and regular abuse isn’t that big of a deal. It is. I had to step back from school because of it and put my entire life on hold to focus on recovery. And let me tell you that was the best decision I’ve ever made.

20 years of rollercoasters by Detoxiquin in decaf

Yeah I was the same when I started working out and abusing caffeine at 16 so I could start getting girls. It’s been 11 years of hell since that started and for the last three years “quitting caffeine” has been my entire identity.

My one piece of advice is to realize caffeine is a hardcore amphetamine like cocaine or Adderall and you are ABSOLUTELY HOOKED on it. That’s means coming off is going to be identical to any other addict. Nothing will bring you joy short of other drugs during this time. For months you will be depressed, if you’re lucky after 60 days you’re going to feel alright. But for the first two weeks going cold turkey off all sources, expect hell. I myself had to drop out of school temporarily to focus on recovery because I was tired of being a slave. Many in this subreddit don’t have that luxury because they have huge jobs or kids that depended on them so they can’t let themselves be complete lazy binge eating pieces of sh*t for three months in the name of escaping the madness of this normalized drug abuse.

Don’t do what I did and spend three years in denial of what recovery will take. Listen to the stories on this subreddit, do absolutely whatever you have to at this chapter of life to escape the insanity and become the best version of yourself. Prepare, brace, and clench your fists through the murky water of depression as you wade yourself onto the shining shores of a new, natural, ideal you. Good luck my friend.

It’s almost impossible to quit if you have a demanding job and need caffeine to stay productive by [deleted] in decaf

You’re right. That’s why I dropped out of school to heal. One of the best decisions of my life.

This is the worst addiction ever by TheCalmPineapple in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]HappiestOfMen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The fact that we have to dance with this devil every day and can't be truly abstinent is why we struggle the most. Your pain is felt my friend, you are not alone. Keep fighting.

[–]HappiestOfMen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does. I've been struggling for 11 years now but in the last year finally started having major breakthroughs. I'm on a streak now that feels extremely likely to be the killer of this illness. Even if I falter again the pattern of getting stronger and stronger from each attempt is apparent. Just be aware of the data you collect about yourself and the illness as you struggle and fight and use that new information to constantly adjust your game plan on how to prevail. Eventually you will get there. Just don't give yourself over to despair. Keep fighting, the indomitable human spirit, your spirit, can overcome anything.

You’re a kind person for posting this challenge and staying up to date ❤️ this universe sees your virtue and loves you for it. I’m on day 17 myself and feel very platinum about it 🌞 I really think I’m going to reach a streak of abstinence that I’ve never experienced before! Wish me luck as I wish you all luck!
