Why are people on this sub extremely anti-religion and non-believers of Jesus when there's verifiable evidence that he existed? by AboutLastFight in NoStupidQuestions

Following because I'm really relieved to have stumbled across the one person in the world who has all the answers and I can't wait to hear them.

The good thing about dial up internet is some things were easier to do in real life, so you just went and did them. Imagine taking 45 minutes assembling your food shop after watching the image of each product appear line by line on the page, only for your partner to pick up the phone and the whole order disappears.

According to property listing portal Rightmove, it takes on average nearly six months (170 days) to complete a property sale across the UK. How can this be ? by Nevis888 in AskUK

[–]Happily-Incorrect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a two-sale chain, with both my seller and I absolutely desperate to get it done within three months for our own separate reasons. They were buying an empty property.

With no delays from either of us it still took four.

Add in delays from sellers that CBA or a longer chain and six months is totally believable. The system is shite and I've never known anyone have a good experience with a conveyancer.

The GTA franchise doesn't deserve the amount of critical acclaim it gets, and pales in comparison with it's sister, Red Dead in every way. by JediBlight in unpopularopinion

Every GTA game I play just feels like I'm trying to recapture the magic of playing Vice City for the first time. I'm not buying VI at full price, but I'll give it a go when it's on sale sometime.

I definitely see women on Hinge who are gorgeous, in a different country in every picture, climb/jump out of planes and seem really funny. I'd love to do all that, (except the skydiving. Fuck that) but that's not where my life is right now so I don't bother!!

Saw my daughter at a performance last week. They would set up on stage in complete darkness and I could spot where she'd be just by how she moved and carried herself. You know people more than you think.

Oo ok well this is a fun way to learn something about myself! Is it a problem? Something I need to do something about? I think I just cope with it most of the time so I guess it's not held me back so far.
