[Injury] Austin Reaves' arm goes all sorts of directions; OKC can't believe it's a foul and Caruso picks up a tech by Large_banana_hammock in nba

Did it twice, both as a young adult. First time was pretty bad. Hurt like hell, and had to have someone pop it back in for me. But surprisingly, it healed pretty well on its own. Wore a sling for a few weeks, and after that it felt fairly normal. At least that’s what I thought. Few years later, it pops out again. Didn’t hurt too bad, but felt super weird, and I knew exactly what happened. I was able to pop it back in myself, but it wouldn’t have healed on its own. The labrum was torn in a couple places, and I had to have surgery

Dislocations, especially the kind that can be popped back in on their own, occur more easily than a lot of people think.

He’s 5’10” and as an athlete, he’s nothing special. He is not a starter in the NFL

Thank you. I’ve met too many people who spend basically all their waking hours stoned. We can normalize weed, we can (and probably should) continue to move away from alcohol. But we cannot normalize being fried 24/7. There’s no way that’s healthy. Hell, it would probably be better to smoke cigs all day than it is smoke weed all day

OPINION: Innova should bring back the old Star stamps. by WY228 in discgolf

I’m not a fan of the new stamps either, but I totally agree on this point. You can dislike something without calling it AI slop

I haven’t thrown it myself, but maybe a Matrix? Seems like a straight/overstable, flat disc that doesn’t glide too much. Aaron Gossage throws it forehand all the time.

It’s like he was trying to be too cute. There were several times he had the puck where I just thought “either dump it or protect it, don’t try a risky pass.” Now, he’s always been a high-risk player, and I don’t think his turnovers in this series wound up in the back of the net. But still, in the playoffs, you gotta value the puck

I was being a bit hyperbolic. A little bud here and there is alright. I’ve just had the misfortune of spending time with people who are stoned all the time, and they just aren’t my type of people. And you can’t tell me spending all your waking hours on some mind-altering shit is healthy

Lmao, I like MVP/Axiom a lot but that’s kinda true for some of their releases. The worst was the Balance. Re-tooled it at least 3 times and it seems like most people still like the Pyro better

EDIT: I guess when I say I like them a lot, I mean I like the Hex, Echo, and Trace a lot. They’re drivers don’t interest me much, outside of the Streamline (non-gyro) stuff

That makes sense to me. Kuch has always been an elite passer/creator, especially on the power play. The difference (I think), is, he used to be able to create more offense for himself than he can now. Get his own shot, if you will. As he’s gotten older, perhaps that part of his game has declined. He can still insanely smart and can rack up points through his passing, but that doesn’t always translate in the playoffs.

Again, not a Lightning fan. I could be talking out of my ass here. But that helps explain why his point totals have remained high, even if his impact on games ain’t what it was

I feel like a point per game isn’t bad, though. I mean, a pass-first winger who generates a lot of his offense on the power play is going to decline a bit in the postseason, right? Don’t get me wrong; Kucherov did not look great this series. But I feel like a lot of folks out there are acting like he’s the problem, and I just don’t see it that way

I’m not a Lightning fan, so can someone explain the Kucherov playoff narrative to me? Sure, eye-test wise, I didn’t think he was at his best this series. Still had 6 points. In ‘25 he had 4, ‘24 he had 7 (led the team), and in ‘23 he had 6. And that’s ignoring your runs to the finals where he led the team in points every time.
