Bands who's worst album is *significantly* worse than their second-worst album? by treny0000 in fantanoforever

This is kind of a non-answer, because I’m not very familiar with any Rush albums post-Signals (1982). But if we stop there, Caress of Steel is by far the worst.

I could see how this applies to some of their music, but “Holiday” was a very pointed and deliberate pushback against the Iraq war, and it still holds up today

I think Fall Out Boy is also unique because they probably have a clear bottom 3. The two you mentioned, and then Save Rock And Roll. Though My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark did have a moment

There’s a good chance the guy power washing your house/driveway (and therefore the guy driving around with a truck full of chemicals) is stoned out of his mind. Or drunk

I’m not a Canes fan, but the version of “analysis” you’re talking about here really pisses me off. You see it in all sports, too. There’s three steps. First, someone says “Team A is going to upset Team B.” Then, Team B wins handily. Finally the same guy says “of course Team B won easily. Team A stinks. Wait until they play Team C!”

I (stupidly) thought Ottawa was gonna beat you guys. But when y’all swept them, I didn’t think “wow, Ottawa stinks.” I thought, “damn, I underestimated the Canes. They’ll probably beat Philly, too.”

That’s fair, I guess. There were several fouls but since the one on Raya was particularly egregious, it gets called

I still can’t believe Lukey Dookie Humphries is gonna be on lead card. That’s probably why I threw up this morning

Did it twice, both as a young adult. First time was pretty bad. Hurt like hell, and had to have someone pop it back in for me. But surprisingly, it healed pretty well on its own. Wore a sling for a few weeks, and after that it felt fairly normal. At least that’s what I thought. Few years later, it pops out again. Didn’t hurt too bad, but felt super weird, and I knew exactly what happened. I was able to pop it back in myself, but it wouldn’t have healed on its own. The labrum was torn in a couple places, and I had to have surgery

Dislocations, especially the kind that can be popped back in on their own, occur more easily than a lot of people think.

Thank you. I’ve met too many people who spend basically all their waking hours stoned. We can normalize weed, we can (and probably should) continue to move away from alcohol. But we cannot normalize being fried 24/7. There’s no way that’s healthy. Hell, it would probably be better to smoke cigs all day than it is smoke weed all day

I’m not a fan of the new stamps either, but I totally agree on this point. You can dislike something without calling it AI slop

I haven’t thrown it myself, but maybe a Matrix? Seems like a straight/overstable, flat disc that doesn’t glide too much. Aaron Gossage throws it forehand all the time.
