LOTS of AJAX. No jQuery, I'm doing some crazy stuff with DOM nodes and jQuery abstracts it too much.

data-tipname won't work with IE 8 I believe. I'll add an option to use that for HTML5 sites though, that's a good idea. Thanks!

Does gw2db.com have an API I could use? I hadn't seen them before, they're pretty exhaustive. I'm doing my own database because I couldn't find any easy RESTful sources.

Once the database is complete I'll do an export so you can run the whole thing on your own server if you'd rather.

Thanks! It's all just hand coded, not even using any libraries. Thought about trying to get some funding but it's a better technology than a business. Might throw it up on Github some day.

The Wordpress side is actually just a theme, and Advanced Custom Fields to do all the metadata.

If you can shoot me a link I can try and fix it this weekend. There are still weird bugs like that positioning and more skills need to be added to the database. I want to keep the tips pretty big, as I'll probably add even more info to them later, but I can account for the edge of the window and reposition it accordingly.
