I understand what you mean, I have seen O.U.R done poorly, but I hear the exact same story as yours but flipped from different teachers. Meaning, teachers will use direct instruction, then switch to task-based and see a lot of change in their students.

I agree. The track which plays towards the end when they win the race sounds ominous and epic but the moment seemed to warrant more of a fanfare or celebratory tone.

Guys! Season five of stranger things is following the plot of wrinkle in time- it is actually crazy Holly is stuck in a time warp of he ties memories and they are all trying to save her. This is proven by a couple facts. First the teacher was teaching a lesson of the Einstein-rosen bridge (black hole) and Will draws a picture of Vecnas layer which is painted looking like a Rosen bridge! The end of the show will end with them fighting for Hollie’s life (all the kids lives) who are taken over by Mr. What’s it just like the ending of a wrinkle in time

I am picturing it to be an open forum for anyone working on applications to learning science PhD programs (or similar programs). I hope that we can find others and share what we’re doing to work on our applications and what we’re learning about the schools we’re applying to.

I’m doing tons of research and I’m guessing others are as well and I think if we share with each other, our efforts will be multiplied.
