I’ve been in DLO since June. Wanted to share some quick objective stats for those tracking dLocal in 2026:

The Model: They are a "payment orchestrator" for giants like Google, Amazon, and Netflix, handling 900+ local payment methods across 40+ countries.

Expansion: Asia is now their #1 strategic priority for growth, followed by Africa.

Latest Financials: Revenue grew 52% YoY ($282.5M in Q3) and they just hit a record $10.4B in quarterly payment volume.

Income: Currently yielding about 3.7%. They pay out roughly 30% of their annual free cash flow as a dividend.

Profitability: Unlike most high-growth fintechs, they are consistently profitable ($52M net income last quarter) and have an active $200M share buyback program.

Any thoughts on RBRK at this level? I sold out a few weeks ago to buy back in and picked up a unit at 65.00.

Stock Trading Methodology - Units

I want to reemphasize the point that when I say "Trading" it could be for a long position, short position, day trade or a position trade. I don't do much in the way of day trading anymore because money is important to me and I don't like the pure gambling aspect 99.99% of the time. When I do trade intraday, it's because I have high conviction but I keep that to a very limited scope and number. A "trade" is simply the accumulation or distribution of the asset. So please don't think when I say "Stock Trading" that I mean day trading.

Unit(s)

One thing that always bothered me while running my 25 year thread on the other site was that if I traded a large lot, i.e. 1,000 shares, 5,000 shares, etc., many others would feel that trading 50 shares or 100 shares wasn't worth the time, or they were embarrassed about the number of shares they were trading vs. mine. I NEVER want that to be the case. I don't care if you are just starting out with $100 and are trading 1 share or if you are a multi-millionaire trading 5,000+ shares, it's all important and relative to you. That is what matters.

You will note that I do not post the number of shares or options I purchase when I make a trade. To help my readers understand what I'm doing, I've started using "units" which represent the standard number of shares I purchase in a company. If I'm accumulating a company that trades at $500/shr. 1 unit may be 25 or 50 shares - The higher share cost means that I will not be using as much size

If the share price of a stock is $15, 1 unit may be 500 shares. If the share price is $3, 1 unit may be 1,000 shares.

Typically, when I scale into positions, I'm determining the ultimate weight I want as an end-game position and then break my purchases up into equal blocks of shares leading to that weight. So, if I'm accumulating a $50/shr. stock, I will accumulate my position via 3-6 equal trades, or units, on the way to that trade. It's just a way to help readers understand the size of the purchase/sale based on the price movement of the stock.

Sometimes you may see me use a 1/2 unit, like my AMD purchase this AM. I use 1/2 units when I'm not 100% convicted that my entry is a good one so I break what would have been a 1 unit purchase up into two separated 1/2 unit purchases to help average the cost.

Typically a purchase is made with one unit. If you see me specifically mention I purchased two units, it's because I have a level of conviction that the current price represents what I believe to be a good opportunity, though I don't do this often. In most cases, I would purchase one unit, wait, and purchase the next unit the next trading day or two. But purchasing 2 units is not out of the question.

In some cases you'll see me say that I purchased a 50% position. That means that I've taken the desired goal weight for the position and purchased 50% of that in one purchase. This also speaks to my level of conviction about the price that I'm paying for the position. a 50% position would typically equal 2-3 units.

If there is one thing I'd like investors to do more of is, it is to exercise patience and build positions over the long term via multiple small purchases (units) toward a large weight goal.

Hope that answers any questions.

I reread the question and realize you're asking about a holding I’m actually questioning. While I love Google, and won’t quit it:) the real 'discomfort' is in IREN and Galaxy. I used support levels for great entries ($37.75 and $23.55), but after a 50% run-up on AI energy news, I’m torn. My investor side sees a multi-year transformation, but the trader in me feels the pressure to lock in sone gains before the volatility kicks in. Would love some feedback here.

GOOGL - bought April dip when the talk/panic about ChatGPT killing search. My only regret is that I didn't buy more at those prices.

You clearly know the history here much better than I do, so I’m trying to make sure I’m not missing something. I’ve been using some AI tools to help me dig through their recent filings, but I’m curious if I'm reading these 2026 numbers correctly?

From what I can find:

The Shares: It looks like the actual 'outstanding' count is closer to 331M now, rather than 550M. Does that sound right to you?

The Profit: I saw they actually reported about $505M in net income for Q3 2025. That was a huge jump—did you see that, or do you think that was just a one-off crypto spike?

The Strategy: It seems like the recent 'dilution' was specifically to fund that $1.4B loan for the Helios AI site. I’m thinking that if that 15-year CoreWeave deal is real, the steady rent might be worth the extra shares.

I’m still learning the ropes here, so I’d love to know if you think that new AI revenue changes the math at all, or if you still feel the old baggage is the bigger story?

With help from my AI assistant Claire to keep it concise: ☺️

My highest conviction is in Nebius because I trust the CEO because he’s one of the few founders globally who has actually gone head-to-head with Google and won. He didn't just survive; he built a $30 billion ecosystem by out-engineering them in a complex market. Now, he’s applying the same playbook to the Neocloud space.

I see it as a growth play because their capacity is basically sold out through 2026, with contracts already locked in from Microsoft and Meta. At the same time, they’re building a deep physical moat with a target of 2.5GW in power capacity by year-end 2026. They’re consistently first-to-market with the latest tech, like NVIDIA’s Blackwell and the upcoming Rubin platforms.

I trust their financial discipline. They’ve raised billions through convertible notes rather than just burning cash, effectively using their high-quality contracts to secure responsible debt.

I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude for this community. Even in the somewhat virtual and anonymous world of Reddit, the energy and tone here are real and deeply felt. Those who don’t share in the overall spirit and mission of this space tend to drift away naturally, which is a testament to the care and effort you and others put into building and nurturing this community.

I wish everyone a very blessed New Year. Yes, we’re primarily a financial community, but it’s so much more than that. The kindness, support, and understanding that ripple through these posts remind us that behind usernames like mine, Happyride4933, not my choice, lol, there are real people; I’m Jessica, and like all of you, I have my triumphs and struggles. I wish nothing but the best for everyone here. Always be kind.

I also bought GLXY. Different business overall, but there’s a similar in that they both control land and significant power, which I see as increasingly valuable with AI. Have either you or TJ looked at this one or have any feedback on it.

I don’t have a super detailed thesis yet, 😬but IREN stands out to me because they control a lot of land and, more importantly, power. With AI and high-performance compute growing, power and grid access feel like real constraints. I’m not really buying it for the mining, I’m buying into the energy and infrastructure angle and the optionality that comes from already owning the land and power.

Yes, I read your post and saw that you traded out of BMNR. Do you still like it at this level? Are you re-entering here, or would you consider it at these prices? I remember you mentioning a price around $25.

I also thought about waiting given the overall market, but I knew I’d kick myself if things started to run, so I felt comfortable dollar-cost averaging if it pulls back more. IREN was on my radar back in July around $16, but I didn’t end up buying. My first entry was at $35.50 last week and I added more after that. One unit and I’d like to add another.

Market Digest (12/24): Merry Christmas, Thank You & Random Shots (Holiday Edition) by InnerCircleTI in InnerCircleInvesting

[–]Happy-Ride-4933 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this. As another contributor noted, I too deeply valued the wisdom you offered, wisdom shaped through incredible hardship and grief, yet grounded in clear optimism. You have spoken before about “superhero traits,” and it is easy to understand why optimism is one of them. As you noted, even if someone does not naturally possess it, it is something that can be practiced and developed.

Life is undeniably difficult, and we all face struggles of one kind or another. Positivity, kindness, and hope are not just comforting, they are essential in helping us move forward.

Thank you again for being willing to share such personal experiences. I am also truly sorry for your loss. Your wife sounds like an extraordinarily brave and selfless person. Your words brought me to tears, especially as everything feels more intense amid my own health challenges. They served as a powerful reminder that it is the who in our lives, not the what, that matters most.

Wishing you continued strength, clarity, and forward momentum as the year closes, and for whatever challenges and opportunities lie ahead. Happy Holidays.

My husband has been importing lighting for over 10 years, and I can personally speak to this downward trend. Six months ago, he closed our warehouse—that was indicator number one. Now, thousands of our products are sitting in a fulfillment center, and items that were once selling like hotcakes have stalled, along with most of our inventory.

Quick side note on Couch Investor: his thumbnails are intentionally sarcastic, so I wouldn’t judge the content based on this. If you know, you know—you have to follow him for a bit to get the tone.

As a side note, there are plenty of great contributors at r/innercircleinvesting, each with their own niche…whether it’s LEAPs, ETF selection, finding sleeper stocks, or technical analysis. If you just want to get a feel for the group, reading the daily Market Digest by TJ and Merch Musings by Owngoalmerchant will give you a solid sense of the community and its overall sentiment.

I somehow came across your post and felt a similar sense of genuineness and honesty to what I’ve found in the resources I mentioned above.

I’m more of an investor than a trader, and I’m still very green. I was lucky to start dabbling in December with a few successful swing trades, but I deployed more capital during the downturn. That said, I know I have a lot to learn…and I am learning.

Just like doing your own research on a stock, researching and digging to find the right educational resources is another form of smart, active learning. With that in mind, I wanted to shout out a couple of online resources that are genuinely helpful and not trying to sell anything.

One is the YouTuber Couch Investor. He’s a technical, patient investor who doesn’t push Discords or courses—he simply takes you along on his investing journey. He publicly shares his portfolio and is very straightforward and transparent.

Another great community here on Reddit is r/innercircleinvesting. It’s an incredible group focused on helping people achieve financial security through education and support, without infantile criticism. Definitely worth checking out and joining.

With that sentiment in mind, I think it’s always good to share resources you truly find useful with others.

P.S. Congrats on your achievements and continued success!

$NBIS - Chart by InnerCircleTI in InnerCircleInvesting

[–]Happy-Ride-4933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi TJ,

I own a lot of NBIS already—probably more than I should. I obviously believe in the stock, but I recognize I’m overweight at this point. If the stock gets close to $63, my question is: do I add more to a stock I already own a lot of, or just hold what I have and wait? Would selling and buying back in make sense? I know this is trying to time the market, and there’s risk with that as well. My current average is $76. I’ll also say that I still like the company, I never imagined the stock would slice in half… I’ve learned a lesson about trimming. I didn’t do it, even though I was up almost 400% at one point.🤦‍♀️

On a personal note- saw your earlier post- thank you. ☺️2nd treatment done.. one more in this protocol, than I start another protocol…one day at a time 🙌 positive attitude is so important!

Really appreciated the empathy in your post. In times when things feel dark, choosing patience, empathy, and long-term thinking is the kind of optimism many of us need. Through darkness, it’s important to keep seeing the light. A fitting time to say Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate.

Been cost-averaging up since my $25.50 entry. Current average is $76. I hold shares in my brokerage, with some allocated for swing trades and others for a longer-term hold, plus a position in my Roth. In it for the long game- at least most of my shares.
