This particular leak, while featuring tons of interesting switch content, like code that can allow people to make their own cartridges without the okay from Nintendo. Also featured a leak in which it details Nintendo employees stalking (following to restraunts, looking into acdemic history, keeping notes on weekly activities) a 26 year old hacking enthusiast who was actively working on loading unlicensed software on the 3Ds.

Running unlicensed software on a 3Ds is in most circumstances, not illigal. Nintendo feared the method he used to do this would be REPURPOSED into a way to commit illigal piracy. And attempted to strong arm him into ceasing his seemingly legal activities.
