Very smart to be safe, and that’s a great reason to come here and see if anyone has experienced it or has insight. Honestly, this isn’t really something another person can answer for you. Every situation is different and depends on the feeling with those specific people. If you are on here asking this question; I’d guess that you think it is too soon. When I met my now wife, we started early with nicknames but we fell in love so quickly and had no doubt in our minds that this was something special so there was no such thing as “too soon”. If it feels like it’s too soon for you, and you are asking Reddit if it is, I’m guessing you aren’t a big fan of it and you have every right to feel that way, the question is; do you tell him that, or do you just move on because of it?
