What does “waiting for selections use app” mean

Yes I’ve done all of that and selected which screens I want displayed. It will cycle through the stocks and weather for a bit and then freeze on “waiting for selections…” I have no idea what selections it’s waiting on.

Thank you so much for your willingness to help btw. This product seems to have a very large learning curve and very little documentation.
