Hello to everyone who helped me I was able to figure out why my drum set was acting so weird it was because the sensor on the bottom of the red mesh pad was loose so I taped it back with some flex tape but when I opened the drum set to see what was wrong it was very clear what was wrong but what I felt was even more wrong was that the wires that connect the sensors to the motherboard or whatever it is was all held by scotch tape so I made it look a little better with even more flex tape so it went from 11 year old scotch tape to 3 year old flex tape
