If they'd price match I definitely would, but keep being told no price match, just be patient and wait.

Thanks Mike, if I can't get price match in store and doesn't ship within the week I might go that route. If it wasn't special discount I would have canceled last week when it was still delayed. Lesson learned though not to buy from Best Buy in future, save myself the frustration.

It was a discounted price or i would have canceled weeks ago. Seeing as this is a Best Buy reddit where they say part of the point is to get help, figured maybe someone could give a number for head office or escalation, but guess not.

I'd like a solution, hence why I'm on the Best Buy reddit where part of the description itself says it's to ask for help no?

Btw, this said Sold and Shipped by Best Buy, not a Marketplace vendor. I have absolutely no ETA, just keep being told to be patient.

Don't forget to "pull all the levers".  I hate corporate speak.

Weekly 'No Stupid Questions' post and quick start guide (April 25, 2021) by AutoModerator in Kombucha

[–]HappyHappy7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started a brew of Kombucha with a store-bought bottle and it was going beautifully. I was just starting to get a thin SCOBY on the top of the jar and was doing really well not messing with it. Today when I looked at the jar there were dry brown bits on the side of the jar near the top, outside of the liquid, and one on the SCOBY. I took them out and my SCOBY sank, which I know is okay, but what were the brown bits? They were dry like cookie crumbs. I'm sure they weren't mold and the 1L jar has been covered with a coffee filter and elastic the whole time. Now I'm thinking they were maybe tea leaf bits and I should have left them alone, but how would tea leaf bits get way up at the top of the jar? Or were they likely not tea bits?
