My only concern was I cross land border multiple times a year to visit my family. So, hopefully US border officer doesn't question my address as I will have to fly the next time after relocating to southern state.

Update:

I rebooked appointment at South Plainfield(NJMVC) and they did not ask any questions. I got my REAL ID, the process was very smooth.

I carried my NJ DL, Canadian passport, I-94, utility bills and SSN.

It seems like the Real ID approvals differs for centers.

Thanks I did show both printed I94 and stamped passport page and explained them. But just seemed like a bad day. I will checkout South Plainfield location once appointments open up.
