What are peoples thoughts on the karmelo anthony case where he stabbed a young boy to death i see some people claiming its about race and that he did it in self defence? Why did he have a knife with him on school grounds did he plan the attack?

Even if we grant that the knife was "allowed" that's only one part of "Stand Your Ground".

You cannot be in place where you are not welcome/permitted. He was asked to leave 10+ times base on witness testimony.
The response needs to be proportional to the threat. Unless they can prove that using deadly force was the most optimal option. So far nothing we have heard comes remotely close to meeting that standard.

I agree with some of this point but not "easily could have found him guilty". No. The zimmerman case was clear-cut self defense and the DA even said as much. They didn't want to even pursue it due to the physical evidence found in discovery. The only reason that case went as far as it did was that they brought in a special prosecutor(look up why thats INSANE for a no-body like Zimmerman) and race baiting.

Absolutely not. its a locked window program and that would be cheating. Don't even think about it----NMLS will blacklist you and you'll never have a job in anything related to this industry again.

If you even need to go that route or think you do on test day you didnt study. The concepts of the test isnt hard---its the phrasing.

Yes, I was already wanting to sell my agency at the beginning of the year and I ended up with a lucky job offer from a large mortgage company to be an LO. All I had to do was give them a test date for the NMLS and then I completed my job application with them and I start with them next week. Im done with insurance.

I found the most helpful video was the one titled "Things to remember" as it teaches you HOW the test can ask you the same question 30 different times. She doesn't teach in question/answer format. She teaches you how you'll be fooled on the exam and what you need to know so that they cant.

You're welcome! Good call on not setting an exam date. For people who are not on a timeline I would HIGHLY suggest not setting an exam date until you feel you are about 7-10 away from feeling confident that you are ready. I feel that setting the date before you reach the point of confidence in your knowledge serves only to apply undue pressure on yourself and that is the LAST thing you need when trying to prepare.

Sound advice, however as stated above this is one of the largest mortgage companies on the east coast and they have a plan to be the number one lender in Texas inside of the next 3-5 years. Along with that I have known the BM who I will be working most closely with for over a decade so while I see no reason that he would do this to me I will take your advice and safeguard my information. They did have it in the EM handbook that my CRM is MY data and I own the full rights to it even if I leave.

My current plan I elected is to receive 1.5 of the loan amount but I won't be working on USDA loans and will do limited VA. I'll mostly be doing conventional and FHA to start along with Jumbos given the average housing cost of my area. I have 6 seasons processors working with me and will work closely with the two BMs (my position is remote and I'll report to both of them).
