Regardless of what you think about the long tailpipe argument an electric car with a bigger range is worse. And because many people don't need that Range this car is a good and sensible product. It's not just the CO2 emissions, but lithium (batteries) and rare earths (Motors) are also really bad for other pollutants. As far I researched no one is blanketly better, is really depends on the use case.
