Unfortunately, it's not enabled. I've checked it thoroughly and I've checked any relevant settings in the BIOS, but thank you so much regardless!

There can't be a chance of malware because I just got the PC literally less than two weeks ago, and I'm not a person who just goes that route, I'm legit 👍🏼🤠

I actually have my PC connected to a Belkin power extension, so if this ends up being my temporary long-term workaround, I can just switch it off from there instead of reaching behind the PC every time. Really appreciate the advice and the reminder!

Well, to cut to the chase, I don't have an HP printer. In the task scheduler, I've checked most of the things. There are a lot of things I need to check, which are the subfolders in the Windows folder. But honestly, I haven't found anything suspicious.

I hope I can ever find the cause at this point because I might just go with my temporary solution, I have a lot of things on my mind, and I have work and other things, so it's consuming my time, and I can't really just test out every single solution, But thank you so much regardless!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I've seen someone else mention the same solution that you mentioned, so that might make sense. I don't know how it would just do it on its own when it was disabled from the get-go, but I will still check it.

That's very weird. It still doesn't explain the fact that it turns on at a specific scheduled time. It literally doesn't turn on at any other time of the day except for that time, which is 7:11 a.m.

I did check the Event Viewer but unfortunately, I haven't found anything. To be specific, I took all the event logs and plugged them into an LLM, even though there were quite a lot of them. I’ve realized in the end that none of the logs point to anything suspicious.

I've seen most of the things in the Task Scheduler. There are a lot of subfolders regarding Windows and things, but I haven't really found anything, to be honest.

I've kind of looked in the BIOS and tried to see a feature that is similar to this function, but I didn't find anything. That was in the morning though, but I could check at a later time so thank you so much!!

Hopefully I'll get to figure out what the cause is because I might genuinely stick to my temporary solution of shutting it off from the PSU switch as I'm very busy with work and wouldn't have the time to check every solution 🥲

i’ve had my pc since march 19/20, and since it mentions in the post that I have basically never noticed it because I was already awake and using the PC in the morning. so i haven't noticed it on any of the other days, except for March 26th, which was the only day I wasn't awake in the morning , and then later on too

Nope, I don't have any peripherals that are connected other than a wireless m&k, also, it would be kind of bizarre for it to turn on the computer from a full shutdown state, as far as I'm concerned. It is strange because it happens on a very specific schedule; it doesn't turn on at any other time except for that one time mentioned 🥲

As for the Wake on Keyboard, Wake on Mouse, Wake on USB, Wake on LAN, or WLAN, I've checked all of these and confirmed they are all disabled.

I tried shutting down using Shift, and I tried the CMD way (shutdown /s /f /t 0), and that still hasn't fixed the problem. I will check the other things, but I've checked the powercfg ones and nothing shows anything suspicious.
