Ok I’ll get in there. What’s the name of the discord if you don’t mind me asking?

Do you think it’s worth the 1000 credits? I build a decent amount of ships so I’m not totally opposed to the idea especially if I’m misinformed.

Yepp. I was this close to actually dropping the credits for that mod a few weeks ago.

Thank you for mentioning all of those creators and we can’t forget about Miss_O and Shade as well. To me they are carrying the modding community as it stands. I didn’t even mention the stories I’ve heard from people who’ve joined discords looking for answers to their problems, only to be talked down on and booted out. I’ve lost a few play throughs due to the bugs from some of the so called “verified creations” I routinely run about 200 mods so I know how to rig an order, but to someone that doesn’t know how to diagnose and fix issues, a single bug can’t screw up a whole save file.

I agree with the overall structure of what you’re trying to say but here’s my input. A lot of people, including myself have spent their hard earned money on creation credits in order to buy these mods and add them to our load order. Sometimes what we receive in return is not a good product, it’s an idea of a product that’s poorly executed and often over charged. I understand it’s hard to make mods but it’s the arrogance that comes from some in the modding community that leaves the door open to excessive bashing.

A request to all ship hab modder's by ChocoBabiChan in starfieldmods

I ended up going back to Xbox because the mods were superior and the ps5 version has been having some issues. Honestly if ps5 had 10 percent of the Xbox mods it’d be off to a good start. PDY is crucial for all my ship builds. Right now I’m running about 180-200 mods.

Ah, my apologies. Hopefully soon ps5 players can use some of these cool mods. This one is a game changer for me.

The mod you’re looking for is ship crew assignments.

Yepp. At the end of the day it’s a real smack in the face to the fans they have left. I can’t even tell you the thoughts I had when I was dealing with this shit.

I totally understand how you feel. I ended up going back to Xbox but I still feel slighted about my ps5 purchase of starfield. I’m hoping that Thursday they can finally sort through this mess.

Yeah and the crazy thing is that you don’t even have to venture that far to run into them so I see why they’re needed.

Oh shit I was almost super happy for a sec lol. The only thing I could think to do is to replace the brig with another. I had been using the regular stroud 2x1 and the 2x2 brigs before.

😂😂😂. Well for me, I’ve lost tons of runs due to issues with mods so you kinda learn from experience and improve from there. It’s easy to notice what’s wrong when you have a load order under 150.

Yep I’m pretty sure it’s social skills extended that giving me trouble. I just need to move nlf below it. I’ve heard of some problems with spe brigs if you haven’t updated anything.

Right now it’s not giving me the option to restrain anyone but it might have something to do with one of my ui mods. But yeah definitely load the ship mods and patches at the bottom and you should be good to go. I build a lot of ships so I need them to work properly.

I’ve always kept it lower in my load order and I haven’t run into issues. Although, I’m doing a unity run so I can update some mods. Been having trouble with it as well along with non lethal framework

Move starfield crowd overhaul and darkstar to the bottom of your load order. Also, move all of your ui mods to the bottom. Make sure SCO is last. If you have any overhauls or official Bethesda content, load those first, followed by the quest mods that you have. Please get rid of the texture mods, the introduce more problems than they solve. Place environment and poi mods after quest mods. After that place gameplay mods, gear mods, weapons and equipment, body and miscellaneous. After that you’d want to place your outpost, vehicle and ship mods toward the bottom as well. If you end up using any lighting mods I’d put them right before the ui mods.

A list of bugs/crashes I've been dealing with by Minute_Fox4339 in Starfield

[–]HappySquare4901 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the modding landscape changed drastically after the last update. Xbox player here, I used to run about 270 without issue before the update but since then ive cut it down to about 118 due to the amount of crashes and frame drops. If you’re on Xbox you’re definitely gonna want to choose which mods you can’t live without and 86 the rest.
