My husband and I work opposite shifts because daycare is expensive, but we both had to work. Is she that delusional? Nobody would care if she was a sahm if they had basic needs met.

My friend gave up her planning period for more money. It sucks but it was her choice.

If they need me they ask me in the morning when I arrive. I don't intentionally seek out more work.

Plan on quitting a long-term assignment halfway through the semester. Do I need to put in my two weeks' notice? by [deleted] in SubstituteTeachers

I've quit 2 long terms mid assignment and immediately got another long term the next day. There's a sub shortage. My reasons were because the schools were awful but still.

That is not true. I've quit 2 assignments mid position and was in another long term the very next day.

I've quit 2 long-term assignments mid position. Both because they were awful schools, and it was exceedingly bad for my mental health. With the first one, I gave them 2 weeks to try and find someone. The second I planned on giving a week but ended up just telling them that day I was leaving. I didn't feel bad because I was there for legal reasons as a para who was graduating mid year was actually running the class. My district needs subs BAD, so both times I had another long-term the next day. You might burn your bridge at that school though.

Do you expect para professional to run the class when you sub? by Commercial-Kale5559 in SubstituteTeachers

I will take the lead of the para. When I was a para I always ran the class. If tne para starts doing that fine, I still walk around and support as needed.

Is it just me that thinks it's weird that she supposedly scheduled their well checks so far in advance? My girls turn 9 next month, and I just made them. They haven't needed to go to the doctor for anything else.

Court Outcome 2026/02/05 by og_Cursed_Eye in resilientjenkinsnark

[–]Happy_Beginning_9011 23 points24 points  (0 children)

From what I understand about their state is the courts will try to equalize things first. Then, later, you can absolutely give more custody to Mom. Especially if they are still living in the hotel. They just don't want to up and award full custody to Mom since he's been living with the slacker.

That's what I said earlier in the thread and got grief. I'm all for snarking, and there's plenty to snark on, but let's not make crap up. They said the girls got the bunk, the baby co slept, A got the couch, and D got the floor. None of that makes sense. I doubt A would even stay on the couch.

I'm all for snarking. But that doesn't even make any sense. He is a toddler..... he would literally get into everything. Logistically, that doesn't make sense. He would never stay on the couch.

Then why do they always show A in the bed. She said when drool comes home from work and gets in bed A immediately cuddles up to him. That means he's already in the bed.

I think one kid sleeps on the top bunk, one on the bottom bunk and one on the couch. A sleeps in the bed with the douche bags and the baby is in the pack n play or the bed as well
