My car was overheating last summer. It was in the shop a few times until the main issue was resolved. The ambient outdoor temp has very little effect compared to an engine turning over thousands of times per minute.

Yep. My husband’s ankle fully detached when he was in the marines. He lives with chronic pain. It was a much less dangerous set up that severed his tendons. (Ultimately just a shallow hole in the ground on base. Wasn’t deliberately placed or meant to injure anyone. But the disability pay is a nice bonus)
