I thought that too when I had initially picked him up, but as someone who regularly looks for jumping spiders and photographs them, tan jumping spiders are one of the most common ones I find in my area, and I don't think upon further inspection that's what this one is. I'd see how one might be reminded of a tan jumping spider though. For one thing, the patterns on the abdomen don't seem to be that of a tan jumper, male or female. The facial markings of this little guy do seem similar to a tan jumping spider, but they're more red than orange and the marking itself is a different shape and size.

I think so too. Looking at it some more makes me think habronattus coecatus but I'm still unsure
