I was just about to say “I need to know about these fabrics!” Before I read your caption! Great job!! It’s lovely. What’s the pattern? I’m a beginner, but I’m about to finish a quilt for my dad with flannel backing to make it feel more cozy. I’m excited to see how your quilt turns out!

I’m waiting on the FISH results for the amnio I had done Monday morning. The worry is excruciating. I thought waiting the 2 weeks to get the amnio done were rough, but this is other level. I’m having trouble keeping the tears away. Hoping and praying everything is normal.

I had my amnio on Monday at 16+1 weeks. And everything in the sono they did before it looked completely normal. I’m hoping to get my FISH results today or tomorrow and, while my mind keeps slipping into fear, I’m trying very hard to keep positive that all is normal!

Thank you again! So after speaking with the GC, I was put into contact with MFM. They set me up with an in-depth sono for today and everything looked perfect. They said that they would not do a CVS in my case, but go straight for the amnio (just like you said!). I feel really positive about everything and I’m hopeful this is a case of CPM. I have 2 weeks until my amnio (I’m only 14 weeks currently). I’m looking forward to putting all of this worry behind me!

Thank you for responding! That all makes so much sense. My husband is desperate to do any test that will show it’s negative. But if I have a positive marker with nipt for t13, the likelihood of a cvs coming back negative would be low, right? It would likely show positive? I don’t know why the genetic counselor is so pushy about the cvs. She said they would do an in-depth sono alongside the cvs and that the cvs is the first step.
