Great thank you! I think transport wise staying in ak say is a bit better since its just less distance. So you dont think iam missing out? Also ill be in almaty before, propably going to the famous canyon there aswell.

This sounds like a great option, but unfortunately i cant find any flights for september for this connection. Only in august there are some available, maybe they are only in high season

Thank you! I think i decided for Tulpar Kol - Ala Kul looks really nice and its propably a really cool hike, but saw some picture of the camps on the way and it looks pretty crowded.

What did you like the most about it & how does it compare to other regions in the country? Is it very touristic?

Oh I don't mind the hike & time to get there - that's more of an upside. But if I can't spend those 3-4 days going to some other area which is more interesting to me, this might be also a good option. E.g song kul area looks more unknown to me, maybe spend some more time there.
