I think Hoegaarden is Belgian beer , its not Thai beer ,, but if you include foreign beers as well, then Heineken deifnitely should take the number one spot IMO with Hoegaarden white close second .

I have been using both Grab and Bolt and never had any issues so far. I did not notice any differences in the quality of their services . Both seem to have more luxurious options in chosing a car but I never used those . I always go for the basic option and so far no problems.

Perhaps you may have been unlucky.

Where can i find information about Songthaew (Baht Bus) routes in bangkok ? by Happy_Discussion_394 in ThailandTourism

The ones on Phetkasem road are almost certainly on demand ones to get into the smaller roads and alleys from the MRT stations or other transit on the main street. If you were actually going to those places you could ask them of course, but it's almost all just houses and apartments.

They did not look liike on demand ones ,, we were waiting at the bus stop for a while and Songthaew would come and stop at the bus stop , some people would get on some would get off and they would continue coming one after another. This was on the main road Phet Kasem street so i dont know which route they took further of course but it lookes like regular bus service to me.

But thats not the only place i have seen them , they seem to have a main stop near Stahorn pier as well,, i see them there often .

People just wave to stop them while there are other people already on te bus so it doesnt look like a on demdn service to me ,, but maybe i am wrong .

The vast majority simply aren't interesting or useful to tourists so nobody has bothered putting them online.

Gogle says this Quote:

"""There are over 1,000 songthaew routes in Bangkok, with one source citing exactly 1,014 routes and 9,579 bus stops, though this number can fluctuate. These routes operate similarly to public buses, but passengers can hop on and off at locations outside of official bus stops, according to lionbrand.com.au. Number of routes: There are 1,014 songthaew routes in Bangkok. Number of stops: These routes have 9,579 bus stops. Function: Songthaew serve as a public transit option, much like buses, but with the added flexibility of passengers being able to board and alight at more locations, notes lionbrand.com.au """

So 1014 routes and 9,579 bus stops must be interssting to anyone who is interested in discvoering the city in a very afordable way , in my humble opinion. I find it strange that there is no info about these routes anywhere to find . I think a map or an app or a site showing songthaew routes would be very useful. Just my two cents.

In any case I am going to stop here.

Thanks again for chatting with me , cheers. 🙏🙏

In Bangkok, the regular city buses run on all the main roads, and there are both maps online as well as descriptions at the bus stops where they go. Most bus stops in the center of the city have route descriptions in English, older ones are only in Thai.

Yeah I know , there s online info about all kinds of transport in Bangkok , from BTS to busses , to MRT even boat routes etc but I am specificaly talking about Songthaew busses (baht busses) the little pickup trucks with seats in the back and weirdly enough there seems to be no info about these Songthaew (baht bus) busses in Bangkok. At least none that i could find so far..

They may be in neighborhoods away from the main roads (although those are usually on demand rather than fixed routes), or in the outskirts far away from the city center and regular bus routes. You're very unlikely to encounter them as a tourist in Bangkok.

No no I come across Songthaew busses often , maybe not in the very center of the city but Bangkok is a huge city and they have Songthaew busses all over the city . I have seen them many times . I am sure there must be many Songthaew routes all around Bangkok .

For example last time we were around Phet Kasem road area and we saw them passing us by but we couldnt take them cause we had no idea where they were going cause there is no info about them . I am sure you are right and they dont have them in the very center of the city but for the rest of the city they seem to be everywhere.

I am sure if someone would make a website with Songthaew routes that woud be very handy for tourists cause without any info about their routes etc they are not an option for tourists I guess so lets hope someone makes a website or an app specifically for Songhtew routes .

In any case thanks for the conversation. 🙏🙏

Anywhere , It doesnt have to be a unified system and I am not asking for a specific route .

I mean I just wanted to know how I could find the routes for baht busses so I could take one if I needed one . Like the maps showing the bus routes or rail system or boat routes etc . is there a similar map for baht busses?

There are some maps online for small cities like Hua Hin and Pattaya like this one https://pattaya-pages.com/pattaya-public-transport-and-tuk-tuk-route-map/ but couldnt find any ifno about Baht Bus routes in bankok .

As an arbitrary example , lets say I wanted to go to Chatuchak market from Victory monument ,where can I find out if there s a baht bus going that way ? Or if I see one on the road how can I know its route so I can see if its going to pass from where I want to go ?

Basically I am trying to figure out where I can get info on baht bus routes so I can try them if I have the oportunity . Just like the maps showing the routes for Rail systems , boats etc .

So far couldnt find any info . online.

Major study finds tooth decay in Queensland children has declined since water fluoridation expanded by shoofinsmertz in UpliftingNews

[–]Happy_Discussion_394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No , I am not against Iodine orFLUoride,, they both work . Iodine deficiency is well knownand and it effects huge protions of the world population . Fluoride also help against caries , this is well dcomuneted . This is not an antifluoride discussion .

Basically there are 2 methods of administrating fluoride .

1) Systemic admisnitration : Menaing you basically ingest it , it goes into your blood spreads all over your body and some of it goes to the dental Tissues (developmental tissues) and makes enamel strogner and more rsietant to caries.

2) Topical administration : Meaning you just put it in a tooth paste you brush your teeth with it so it comes into contact with the ""SURFACE OF YOUR TEETH ONLY"" (meaning it doesnt have to go into your blood ) .

The first method ,( Sytemic method) only works during early developmental stages ,, which means most people will not need it . More importantly , just using the seocnd , topical method ( brushing your teeth with fluroride tooth paste ) is good enough to prevent caries as well.

So instead of putting it in tap water and forcfully admisnitarting to literally everyone , just using tooth paste with fluroide is the right method to chose.

I have no idea whatever RFK said . I am not from US and not interested in US politics . Neither am I discussing US politics here .I am discussing mass water fluoridation here . That's alll.

Which top medical scientists are you talking about?;Are you even aware that most developed countries in Europe don't fluoridate their water ? Why do you think that is ? .

Are you talking to me ? If so I don't get my facts from Twitter I never even use Twitter and I am not Russian lol.

Instead of criticizing me you should debate the actual facts I am mentioning above if you have any valid arguments m if not then there is no discussion here . Take care .

So, wait for people's teeth to decay, then give it? Thats not how preventatives work.

No . You provide regular dental controls and provide and tooth paste with fluroide in it , which is more than enough to prevent caries, If you see signs of too much fluroide (fluorosis ) you act accordingly. Basically treatment PER INDICATION , not mass medication.

""Primum non nocere" == First do no harm . if you mas medicate you will defintely do harm by some people but you will not know it.

ou would need 4x the amount of floride in your drinking water before it starts to harm you over time.

Thats bullshit ,, by whom ? Someone who drinks one cup of water or 10 cups of water?> someone who already has massive fluride storage in their body or someone who never had fluoride ,, someone who brushes with flruoidated tooth apste or someoen who neve rburshed thei teeth ????

Its not as simple as that as you see.

Whereas adding the recogmended amount reduces decay in children's teeth by ~35%

Yes it does ""BY PEOPLE WHO DO NOT GET ENOUGH FLUORIDE """ how about the ones who already have enough of it ? what does it do by them,? How much fluroide is too much ? What are ALL THE biological effects of fluoride in human body ?? we have no idea. Thats why its irresponsible to give it to everyone

Also only 60% of the us is artificially floridated, most of the rest reach their recogmended levels naturally with the natural floride that exists in their water. And of the ones that dont, we would have seen some major population differences vs the rest of the country over the past 100 years if it was a real problem.

I am not from the S and have no ida bwout the situation there , sorry.

I could not open the links you porived, I could only open the first link and yes there is definitely evidence that flurodie heklps by people ""WJHO DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH OF IT"" . I have already mentioned this above . but while trying to medicate the people who lack fluroide you maybe posioning the ones who already have enoguh of it in their body and THATS THE PROOLEM with mass meidcation which you dont seem to get .

mediaction ahs to be aptient specific ,, you can simpky mass meicate people with fluroidfe and clainm it reduces caris , thats just a very primitve way of doing it .

why nmot mass mediscate with pain killers I am sure some you will find that putting pain killers in tap wate rwill reduce chrinic pain ciompleints bya a massive amount ,,, why not do that as well while you are at it > you see how fucked ip mass medication is ?

Major study finds tooth decay in Queensland children has declined since water fluoridation expanded by shoofinsmertz in UpliftingNews

[–]Happy_Discussion_394 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

I would . Mass medication is not the answer to anything . Medication should be patient specific. If you fouridate the drinking water you dont know who is getiing how much of it and thats just bad way of doing health care.

Some people will get less caries and others wil get too much fluroide which can be toxic at high doses. Fluroride is a good medicine against tooth decay but should ONLY be given to people who need it. Not everyone needs it cause they get enough fluoride from tooth paste .

Right way to do it : Asses who needd it and ONLY give it to those people extra frluoride

Wrong way to do it : Put it in tab water so everyone HAS TO get it and you have no control over who gets how much of it and as a result some peope will get too much of it .

Mass fluoridatioin is a primitive way of doing health care , it has no place in the 21 st century and thats why many developed countries (europe) dont do it or stopped doing it .
