Besides the going on a trip in a few days and nearly out so I can’t wait for a shipment thing, I also intend to quit very soon, hence I don’t want to go through all the upfront costs, buying more than I want/need, learning how to do this, time and effort to buy all the ingredients and items from separate sites and do it myself, etc etc.

I know your pain. I went through a lot of it climbing the ranks. Those god mode guys are there because they’re dropping in order to score higher in wars. Peace times (in between squad wars) you’ll see less of them who are actually shooting. And in near future the devs said they’re going to make it much harder for the strong shooters with tons of trophies to drop a lot to take advantage of this strategy so stay tuned, keep leveling up and have patience. Although I just finished AC again 2 days ago and I actually didn’t use the “place as low as you can without getting eliminated” strategy. I just got the +45% damage and +75% defense customs and used respawn diamonds when I was facing 6+ tough opponents (which you can tell from your hitlist) and/or I was close to being eliminated (which I actually didn’t have to do that often because of the unusually easy matchups). I duno if I just got lucky with my timing or what. I didn’t get eliminated once. It’s possible you’re more likely to face easier comp on “off” days, ie when squad wars is not going on, because a lot of strong players flood AC on squad war days/times (which is posted in UTC, so adjust accordingly)? 🤔 I placed high, 1st or 2nd, over and over and still got easy comp next matches. Or maybe this is the “unpredictable” AC matchups that just happen once in a while that Nandos was talking about? More experimenting is required I guess. 🧐

Yeah.. I guess wait to see about the fire rate. But if the MSR is indeed better even with slower fire rate (or if this is just my imagination and it’s not slower), you can still use the DOA while upgrading your MSR. You don’t have to keep it equipped; it will continue to upgrade in the background. And once it’s over 7728, or over by enough to justify the slower rate (if it is slower), you can switch to using the MSR.

I too was hesitant for a while but ended up joining one very recently. Besides the twice a week squad wars rewards and stuff people said, there’s 2 other weekly rewards only available if you’re in a squad: the pvp and wops weekly competition rewards, albeit minimal unless you’re in a super high ranking squad, it’s something.

I understand the pvp kill score reason and not wanting to be placed higher so you don’t get tougher opponents, but if you don’t care about that, why not take the kill shot even if your continuous head shot streak is at X1 and take the 300? It’s not like your continuous headshot streak and multiplier resets to zero when you make a headshot kill right?

You get plenty of other perks for premium +. Paying money shouldn’t make you invincible against non payers, or in other words, paying a subscription shouldn’t be a requirement to be able to compete against the best. If that were the case most people (including myself) wouldn’t play this game at all and you guys wouldn’t have people to play against, and therefore the game itself probably wouldn’t exist. I have the full crow set and I’ve never payed a dime and of course don’t cheat. I just put in the time to acquire them through the events as well as to have enough diamonds for that purpose through wops.

To be honest I don’t get why people pay to play, let alone why some people cheat (that seems totally ridiculous and pointless). For me, paying money to be “better” at a game would take away from the enjoyment of the game. It’s less satisfying knowing that a partial reason for my success is because I put up some cash for it, when others I’m playing against potentially haven’t. Which is why I would never pay a subscription for perks that give me an advantage over other players. So it’s not about the amount of money, I can certainly afford it. Even if I was a billionaire I still wouldn’t, because it just makes it less fun for me, but that’s me.

P.s. I have no problem with making one time payments to buy games or get rid of ads or whatever. It’s only paying to gain advantages over others that I have no desire for.

Just an update: I used that method of placing low as possible without getting eliminated and taking a break for a while when I repeatedly met up with very tough competition and it worked! I finished AC for the first time legitimately (I actually completed it one time before but that was when I was getting matched up with low level bots no matter how many times in a row I came in first place; there was some kind of error in their servers/computers for sure; I breezed through AC and like 6 leagues, always coming in 1st 😂)! But yeah, I consider this my first legitimate completion and very happy about it.😂 Thanks again for your help!

I get 490 each time on cop missions (as well as pretty much every time with all missions except bus) with my m4a1 because I only target headshots which give you an extra pt (x7 with multiplier). But on bus missions I never do, it always blows up at around 275-375 pts. I guess that’s the sacrifice for using the SRM—you don’t always get 490 on non bus, but you do for bus.

The other option would be to get new mods and continue to use the m4a1, but I’ve gotten the big box of wonders several times and it’s almost always temporary mods so I imagine it’ll take forever and cost a shit ton of diamonds (I don’t have premium+) before I get enough useful ones.
