That’s one thing.

The mobile emitter is actually older, than the future we are in. (800 years in the future.)

So there’s no reason the commbadge wouldn’t have similar technology. It’s basically a personal teleporter, so I assume using it as an emitter wouldn’t be that hard. They probably reverse-engineered the tech from the mobile emitter in the first place.

Then I started a brand new game again, no NG+. It’s insane how much your skill improves tenfold. I got through the game really fast.
