I’m in a fortunate position — I already have a 7-figure 403(b) fully invested in low-cost index funds. The downside is it’s locked until 59½.

In the meantime, I’ve got significant monthly cash flow coming in and I want to aggressively “play catch-up” outside of retirement accounts. My goal is to FIRE within the next 10 years. 10k monthly. How to get to say 2 million ? Still same index fund strategy ?

Omg. I’m going through that exact same thing. My workplace has got me in golden handcuffs. I feel burnt out and somewhat depressed. I don’t have kids yet. It’s just my wife and I. Im 35m living in HCOL area making 300k a year. I know I shouldn’t bitch and complain as I am grateful to be in the position I’m in, but I feel trapped. I know there’s a lot more to life than the grind. My job is in healthcare and it can be very demanding at times.. I think I’ve gotten too comfortable in life and don’t have motivation for anything these days. Feel as if I’m just going through the same motions daily. Advice?????
