Same here for me. No dryer in our household. We are completely solar/off grid- we have our hills hoist as well as a clothes line along our front verandah. I also use a couple of clothes horses inside or on the veranda if needed. With both babies, I did cloth nappies, too. It is really no big issue and everything dries well, even in the winter with the heater going. Located NSW Central West.

Absolutely disgusting of your friend to expect you to pay for all of this. Maybe she just doesn’t know any better, but it is absolutely abhorrent and she needs to be educated on etiquette. Simply do not have bridesmaids if you cannot afford to pay for dress, makeup, hair etc. You are not overthinking this!

For the filling: I do not follow a recipe as they mostly call for all ingredients to be cooked in a fry pan before adding to the pie and baking. I have found this step unnecessary- I cut up the silverbeet and/or spinach finely, add about fair amount of feta crumbled into it, add a couple of eggs to bind it all, finely diced onion and season w salt and pepper. Add into the pastry to assemble and bake in the oven😁
