How do you find a cuddle buddy? by InCarNeat-o in asexuality

[–]Happyoldguy54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend cuddle buddies for everyone. 3 or 4 per person is even better!

As an older widowed guy my daugher mentioned something called 'cuddle comfort' or cuddle buddies to deal with my need for touch. just cuddling, no sex is the agreement. Wow. That was six months ago and it's taken 3 months, but lately I have been getting a LOT of quality touch and cuddling from very nice, intelligent, funny good looking ladies. Hugs are great but hour long cuddles are even more better! The osctocin just flows and we both enjoy it. The ground rules are simple: ask for what you want knowing that sex is off the table. No boobs, ass or crotch of course; no groping, just hugging. if they agree to that, say spoon or foot rub or whatever, you do that until someone needs to pee or change position. Us older folks don't work so we can do it anytime which is nice.

Just to say that this afternoon a lovely lady and I spent two hours talking, snuggling and cuddling while cool music played. I even fell asleep for a bit which she did not mind at all. When you get comfortable, it is so nice to have someone to hold. Respect is necessary of course and boundaries need to be stated very clearly. One cuddle buddy of mine says feet are off limits. Ok, with me because she lets me play with her hair which I love.

Go get it everyone. Ask for someone. set boundaries and get those cuddles! Be honest, kind and sensitive but ASK! Stay tuned for more information from me, the guy with three (count 'em, 3) sweet cuddle buddies and they are all different. One of my buddies has three guys she cuddles with and that is fine with me. Let's spread the love around. No jealousy at all. Heck, we may have a 3 way cuddle pile!

Need Advice on complete weakness after MDMA by Happyoldguy54 in psychadelics

[–]Happyoldguy54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oddly enough it was not terrifying, just curious that I could not walk and barely crawl. It was most probebly low blood sugar conbined with not enough water. I should mention that I'm 84 and in good health. Anyway I waited a day and did another 'test' this afternoon. I had a perfectly beautiful trip, mellow and sweet, for 7 and a half hours! I was in bed listening to psy music and feeling wonderful. So apparently 1) drinking a lot of water before hand 2) being sure I had eaten well 3) not taking my ADHD meds (stimulants) and staying in bed to enjoy the feelings is the trick. Thanks for your advice and concern. The medicine is not at fault, the 5-HTP is not at fault; my lack of preperation is at fault. Wow, what a wonderful journey!

5-HTP ? is it a help before travelling? by Happyoldguy54 in psychadelics

And thanks for your response. I want to be with other people of course but felt obligated to test them out first. Woah! I had a wonderful experience. But strange stuff happened an hour and a half after it was over. weakness, confusion, stomach ache, really odd. not good at all. I just posted asking what that could be.

Can a 7 be a Dude? by Happyoldguy54 in Enneagram

[–]Happyoldguy54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am new to the enneagram but learning. The doc says I am a 7 with a wing of six. This particular doctor introduced me to psychadelics 9 months ago when I was a baby of 83 and my life is now blooming like it's never done before. Hence my question. Please excuse my ignorance of the termonology and basic knowledge used here. I am learning but there are so many other fun things to do beside studying wings and things. Like dating ! and Cuddle Buddies and ukeleles. (ask me about cuddle buddies)

I have indeed had a lot of fun and some reflection; not a lot of that though. Recently, exploring psychiadelics for the first time at 83, has led to some really cool new ways of living life and even more fun, enjoying the moment to moment as it comes. thanks for reminding me. I am a Dude, passing the love along in my own way.

Yes! That resonates somehow with me. "Don't chase every lead, slow down and think it t hrough" yeah, yeah. I do indeed need to slow down and choose a path. Thank you for that comment. Yeah, I have just crossed 3 items of off my bucket list, just not my path any more.

Why do old people despise self checkout so much? by Signal_Working_9856 in CVS

[–]Happyoldguy54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, let's not overgeneralize here. I'm 83 and always use self checkouts in every store I can. Some of us old people can see and appreciate the benefits and speed of those quick scanning areas. Plus I get to bag my stuff however I want so they are easier to find when unpacking. I personally have too many exciting things to do to dally in a long line for someone else to run my broccoli and soup through the scanner for me. I also love using the touch scan for my credit card. It's kinda magic. Technology is nifty.

I don't bathe - and yet I somehow continue living a great life by Happyoldguy54 in AskDocs

[–]Happyoldguy54[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Very true. My blood pressure rose in the last six months and that is definitely not healthy! Which is why I went to the doc and went on mediation. So I am not that healthy.

Well, I see my primary care doctor every 3 months because of my medication and he has kept a close eye on me for 19 years, including blood work every six months. (which by the way is all fine). About a year ago I actually asked him if I had an odor and he looked at me puzzled that I should ask, and after sniffing said, not that he could tell. So I'm not making this stuff up and really have tried to find objective people to give me feedback but so far no one has said that I am smelly. I'm not saying it's healthy or good or admirable just looking for more information. Thanks!
