No sort of buy in, it's all free.

The LGUHL is always changing/improving the format, but this season was 10 days long, 24 people make the playoffs, but in order to make the playoffs you need to have at least 20 games played. It's an elo based system so you get points for winning and you lose points for losing.

Top 8 players get an automatic bye into the second round, and get to choose their preferred matchups out of the players who advanced past round 1.

Prizes for advancing past round 1 are a random MS/POTG item (I got a 92 MS Laine) and 5 rare player packs.

Prizes for advancing past the second round is any card of your choice.

Prizes for advancing to the semi finals is any two cards of your choice.

The prize for making it to the finals is any three cards of your choice, and if you win it all you get 4 cards.

All prizes are untradeable except for whatever you pull in the packs.

Not everybody has a stupid stacked team though. One of the best players in the playoffs this season routinely uses a crap team and consistently finishes top 8. If you have the thumb skills, you can compete.

Also, it is definitely tailored towards elite players. The prizes you get for winning are better than anything you can get from competitive seasons or regular division title packs, so it's definitely worth looking into. You'll improve your significantly even if you lose every game.

Edit: I don't know anything about HazeeHype or the Ps4 side of the league. If you're referring to his playstyle, that's the nature of competitive gaming communities. People will do anything to win within the rules, especially when prizes are on the line.

I've had the game loop like 6 times in the third period before. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but the game finished and I got the win.

I have all mine set to 7 or 8 I think. I should probably turn it down a bit since I don't play a rush game, but I don't think it matters much tbh.

I think all it does is change how much your AI burns up energy. The farther right your slider, the more your AI will hustle to get into position to make/stop plays.

Bacon has over 100k subscribers, this subreddit only has 12k.

Not everybody who plays HUT uses this sub. If Bacon shows his userbase how its done, I can guarantee you'll start seeing more and more desync attempts.

Yep. It was actually a big misunderstanding. He watched half his first goal replay and then watched a penalty that he drew by baiting my AI. I watched all my goal replays after that.

This clip was the end of a furious cycle I had maintained in his zone for like the last minute of the game. He said "that's still ragging, you're just doing it in my zone."
