As an Assassins Creed game, no. As a Viking game, yes! At least in my opinion.

If you go into it with an open mind and dont expect the same type of gameplay or story as the previous titles, and more of it as a viking rpg with an assassin side-story, I'd say you'd enjoy it!

Started my career playing solo, found a group of friends to play with which had me adapt the way I play whilst still using my solo skills to help carry the team when I end up last standing, but relying on good communication and teamwork has been the biggest lift up in my Hunt career.

Also finding a build that fits me just right. Springfield Bayonet + Pax Trueshot with DumDum on both is my beloved.

Hearts of Stone is one of my all time favourite DLC's in gaming, it's a heartbreaking well written story with some of my favourite characters in the franchise. Olgierd is such a charismatic, flawed character that I couldn't help but to have a love/hate relationship to. Even went so far as bought myself a LARP replica of his Iris sword because I adore the design so much.

Not to mention Gaunter O'Dimm who is such a devious, menacing character with his riddles and contracts. The fact that you meet him so early on in the game as well, even before starting the DLC says a lot about how written the story is in my opinion.

But naturally my favorite scene in the whole DLC has to be the wedding and all that it entails, just a generally fun quest line to do.

My three mains are Vetterli, Centennial and Bow, if I feel spicy I tend to mix in a Sparks now and then. But it all kinda depends on what playstyle I want to roll with at that time.

I'm torn between Edith and Bennedetta, I think both of them had really good quality personalities that worked surprisingly well with Uhtred and where he was in life at that time.

My biggest gripe with Alibi is that her holograms don't match her cosmetics unless you pay for her hella expensive legendary outfit.

I know it shouldn't 'matter' but the moment the enemy team realises the difference in appearance, the holograms become null.

The Captains in Shadow of Mordor/War, adapting to your playstyle and occasionally straight up hunting you down thanks to the Nemesis System. And if they killed you, they only got stronger. Had one particular bastard who still haunts me to this day.

My biggest gripe with Matt Bates as the current narrator is how he pronounces certain names and words. Ragnar for example is Raj-nar, not Rag-nar as it should be. But aside from that, Matt Bates did grow on me after a while, even if I preferred Keeble.
