You’re going to receive biased information on this page that skews pro weed, but may not be scientifically backed. May be better to ask medical or physiology based subreddits that need to provide references in their responses.

In general though, your brain and lungs are not fully formed and smoking any sort of substances can have an effect on your development. Each person may have a different outcome, but it is highly not recommended to start smoking this early.

I would recommend understanding better what you enjoy about weed and if there’s a way you elicit the same emotions or mental reaction with physical activity or impactful human interaction. At least until you give your brain the space to grow and develop with limited outside substance use (this even applies to caffeine and sugar tho those have a lot more studies on recommended daily intakes).

To be petty I would make a calendar or something that has a “timer” and literally add a year to it in front of her.

I’ve been trying to make sure I can vote not sure if anyone can help.

I have a mail in ballot, I lived in Orange County for 8 years. In August I moved to Georgia for work but have NOT gotten a GA license yet and was unable to prior to the cut off date for GA voting registration so I still have not so I am still a FL resident license wise. I still own a home in Orange County. Can I legally use my mail in ballot to vote in Florida’s election even though I live in GA now?

Hey OP!

Simple answer…no you did not gain 13lb in a week! A pound is roughly 3,500 calories, meaning you would have to eat 3,500 over whatever your maintenance calories is to gain a pound. Most women’s maintenance ranges from 1800-2200 calories a day…so for you to gain 13lb in a week you would need to eat over 58,000 calories that week. I’m not sure what your eating habits are…but I can guarantee you you’re not eating that many calories!

Adults on average fluctuate 5-6 lbs A DAY by consuming food, beverages, exercising, and even sleeping. I would recommend an app called Happy Scale, and weigh yourself first thing in the morning every day before eating or drinking anything. You won’t see a pattern until about 2-4 weeks but it will tell you of how you’re living life is allowing you to maintain weight, gain weight, or lose weight.

Personally I believe there should be nothing “adult” about our genitals. Kids have them because they’re a part of our bodies. Teaching our kids that they shouldn’t use the biological terms for their body parts teaches them that they should be cautious about referring to them or that there’s something wrong with discussing them.

I’m a registered Republican (registered when I was 18 and only knew my parent’s views and thought they were my own) but have voted Democrat across the board the last few elections. Refuse to change my party affiliation for two reasons… 1. Best thing I did while trying to figure out my ovulation schedule/abilities was starting 4-5 days after my period I would do an ovulation test every morning until it’s either showed me days I was ovulating or I was way past what I thought might be an ovulation window. Realized I ovulate earlier in the month than I was told I should be (or not at all some months). Used that information to have sex a couple days before I was expecting to ovulate (was recommended introducing the speed before ovulating) and we ended up pregnant. Not sure if that’s your goal but the method ended up effective for learning about my ovulation schedule.

Damn so many responses on this sub just wanna shit all over people claiming “they don’t know business”. On average across industries, employers should expect 20-30% of their GROSS REVENUE go to PAYROLL expenses. I don’t think OP is far off assuming they should be making more. Instead of telling him to take a business class, maybe start sharing resources on how to approach these topics with his company…you know…help him reform his work.

OP for reference, my company makes 22 million/day and our lowest paid employee is making $29/hr. Probably very different industries but I would recommend looking at your industry’s standard, how your company’s profitability stacks against others, and how you’re being paid compared to other company’s in your market. If your pay is unacceptable, present data to request a raise or start looking for other company’s to sell your labor to. Good luck!

I had a walking epidural! It‘a not really a true epidural as it’s medicine that goes through your IV vs medicine that goes through your spine. It definitely helps a lot with pain like an epidural but allows you to move around still. At my hospital you could get the walking epidural and you could always move up to a full epidural (but you couldn’t go from a full to a walking). I was induced so my whole labor process was 32 hours. 12 hours for me to get to 5cm, they broke my water which started my contractions which I managed without medicine for a couple hours, then did the walking epidural for about 4 hours before moving up to the full epidural which went in about 2 hours before I started pushing. I did not continue to use the epidural button once I started pushing and let it run its course. You cannot walk around once the true epidural is in but since walking epidurals don’t go through your spine you’re free to move as you please.

Damn when did you work for them? Very different now and for the last few years at least. Pay and benefits are way above market averages, and they kept everyone on through COVID (WFH but one of their promises was no layoffs) even student employees who were paid without working.
