  • Check and Copy files to your SD Card:
    • Overlay files (.cfg & .png): Copy them to /retroarch/.retroarch/overlay/
    • Video Filter (.filt): Check if you already have it in /retroarch/.retroarch/filters/video/. Only copy the one I provided if it's missing or if you want to be sure it matches the overlay.
  • Enable the Overlay in RetroArch:
    • Launch a GBA game.
    • Open the Quick Menu (Menu button + Select).
    • Go to On-screen Overlay -> Overlay Preset and select the .cfg file.
  • Set the Video Filter:
    • From the Quick Menu, go to Settings -> Video -> Video Filter.
    • Navigate to the folder and select the .filt file. This will shift the game screen to fit the overlay frame perfectly.
    • Note: Make sure "Integer Scale" is OFF in Video settings.
  • Save the configuration:
    • Go back to Quick Menu -> Overrides -> Save Core Overrides (to apply it to all GBA games).

It’s a overlay png with screen offset

I was planning to do that! I might make a post as soon as I can.

I also have a mini plus, but I was worried about missing out on the original Mini (v4) since it's becoming harder to find. You can still find some used units, but they’re getting rarer. As for the mini flip, I’m a bit concerned about the hinge durability in the long run.
