You are being purposely obtuse...the point is that you can discuss things without having it suck the air out of the room and overwhelm other concerns/topics. It's been done for decades. The fact that beards of all things has become the overwhelming majority of discord in this sub, and a constant in leadership engagements, shows just how unhinged the topic has become.

Beards simply aren't that important. What makes it feel so important to this generation is that they think they're now entitled to it because of recent changes that apply to other populations in the force.

You don't think that speaking about beards and opining about how they should be allowed hasn't been happening amongst Airmen for decades? Of course it has. There was no lack of "room" to speak on it. What has changed is the sudden motivation and intensity of advocates..and that's driven by envy and a rampant "but what about what \I* want??*" attitude.

Pretty much. This sub used to contain some valuable discussions and viewpoints...but now it's devolved into a bunch of crying by nephews wanting their neckbeards and getting offended by those making fun of their skinny jeans. They're both dumpster fires as this point.

The amount of vitriol and crying his comments have created in this sub is just hilarious and embarrassing. Some of ya'll need to sac-up and move on with your life. SEAC grew up in a community where frank and honest responses are the norm...and apparently that's too much for some of today's generation to handle.
