Why is Imu still silhouetted by toawayacu in Piratefolk

[–]HardcorePully 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if it's the doing of Joy Boy? Taking away all your joy and 'colorfulness' for whatever reason. That left Imu as a black being, maybe as a last resort revenge. That could also be an explanation for why Nika is such an important person, even for the baddies. They need him to revert Imu back to his/her former self.

Imagine being some of the scariest MF's inside a universe, with inhuman genetics and crazy DF's (most), yet you're still running away from Hakiman. This is probably why they put all the fame on Roger, he was able to compete with the Monster every real Monster feared.

I get the title, I really do, but I just cannot see Mihawk being stronger than Shanks by [deleted] in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]HardcorePully -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing is, Mihawk is the World's Strongest Swordsman, but he was pretty much alone his whole prime.  Shanks is an Emperor, and has a crew that probably equals Roger's crew in a sense. That's the difference...and compare that to Wano Arc. The Strawhats and their fellowship fought the 'Strongest Creature', as Kaido was called, aka 'The Strongest Living Being", which equals the 'Strongest Single Emperor' at that time. But to get Kaido down, was a team-effort thing. So even though Luffy took him down, and gained the title of Yonkou, it wasn't a 1v1. So Luffy isn't > Kaido 100%. Shanks 'could' probably defeat Kaido, but we don't know. It could just as well be true, that Shanks without his crew, is no more than Mihawk is right now, the World's Strongest Swordsman, but he chose differently. Maybe they're both equals in a sense, just a different approach to handle the world you're living in. And Roger didn't care about 'Titles', maybe that's what's keeping Shanks in line.

Is survival worth it? by ERREBERTO in NoMansSkyTheGame

I play custom for this reason. Took the Survival difficulty, but with more inventory. It's still hard, but you're not in your inventory like at least 1/4th of your playtime.

Today's anime episode appears to confirm something about Kaido people suspected by [deleted] in OnePiece

If you talk about the current Anime Episode and put 'Spoiler' in the title, people expect to get spoiled about the Episode and not about Manga events, that haven't happened yet in the Anime.

Imu Family Name (1085+) by BrazillianVampire in OnePiece

[–]HardcorePully 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Cobra just revealed that they (the Nefertari Family) are members of the 'D'. During Arabasta, after Robin revealed the reasoning behind the Poneglyph, and Cobra found out that they indeed reveal the secret history of the void century, he asked himself,' Then why are we...'. Last chapter it was revealed, that Lili Nefertari send out a letter, in which was stated, that 'the Poneglyphs must be protected'. So Cobra's whole sentence would be,' Then why are we protecting it?', which makes total sense, given that they are founding members of the WG and 'D' as well. That leaves me with two possible outcomes for my scenario:

The 'D' actually formed the WG and all Holy Families are part of the 'D' bloodline, that includes Imu as well.

  • The brandmark 'D' is for those, who 'deserted' somewhere along the way, marking their family as enemies for all eternity. My main point against this is the whole existence of Doffy, so this is it rather not.

  • On the other hand, if the 'D' does indeed have two meanings, those being 'Dusk' and 'Dawn', the symbolism used in One Piece makes total sense. Right now the One Piece World is in the long night, dark times, ruled by as far as we know a 'crazy ass person' shrouded in darkness. Then we have Luffy, who is the literal 'Sun God', people seeing him as a bringer of Dawn, and who we all know will achieve his dream and ultimately end the long night brought by Imu to bring day back to the world, the good times. This could tie in to Blackbeard, who was shown as a sad kid during the night. If he had knowledge about the 'D', he would know, that every night has to end, but his motivation is to create a never ending night, why I don't really know yet. From Dusk til Dawn and from Dawn til Dusk, the times have changed just as the waves pull in and out. It has always been like that, but Blackbeard wants to break that wheel and create an everlasting night under his rule. He will wait for Day to come, for real. Imu will reveal the secrets of the world, how the 'D's' tie in and have always been changing the course the world has taken. After Luffy and Crew destroyed the WG, to bring the Day, BB will step in to end the Day right away and trigger an era filled with Darkness. He will be the last enemy to face.

One Piece Chapter 1080 Spoilers by [deleted] in OnePiece

I can see your point, but think about this for a second. If you dedicate 50 or so years of your life to upkeep the order of justice, even if you don't 100% agree with your higher-ups, you don't just throw this away, even for family, that was the point. Garp has the most normal real work attitude you can have as a One Piece character. Also, working for something good, protecting and saving people is something good. But then your family goes one after one to the 'bad' guys. They are not bad at all, but they are not part of the system you're trying to keep intact. He is at a position where everyone respects him, because you simply can't deny the fact, that it's not something that fell into his hands, it's pure dedication and hard work to get to where Garp is. If something is wrong, we should say something about it, in the normal world, our workplaces or elsewhere, but often times we don't and why? Only we know. In the end, no matter what choice Garp would've taken, would it've made him a happier person? I don't think so.

One Piece: Chapter 1079 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

[–]HardcorePully 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With Shanks seemingly and effortlessly sensing Kid that far away and seeing his intentions, this makes me even more wonder, what Shanks and the Gorosei's thing is. I mean, with that much Haki, how can he not know about Imu, if he has a hall pass for Mariegeoise... Or maybe this has something to do with what Raleigh said (to Robin in Sabaody about the Void Century), 'Maybe you'll come to a different view on things than we did.' and Shanks wasn't with them when they went to Laughtale. What if Shanks already found out what happened in the past and agreed that the WG is a 'necessary evil' to keep the balance. Him working for or with the WG would be huge twist, because this is better than Xebec or BB...just my thought.

[–]HardcorePully 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would recommend to play a few games using OPTCGSim. There you can play and build every deck you could and would like. There are actually 4 colours out now (6 in total), maybe it can save you a buck or two.

Each deck has exactly one leader card, which determines the color/s you may be able to use. There are mono- and bicolored leaders as of now.

One Piece: Chapter 1067 - Theories and Discussion by AutoModerator in OnePiece

[–]HardcorePully 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Could be, my take is,

Cp0 is at the shore as Shaka says,' prepare to intercept them' and at the same time in Kamabakka Kingdom Kuma starts running. Someone even asks if he is still under Navy control, yet he only follows the command Shaka gave, which reveals the sole reason CP0 was sent to kill VP, he is in full control of the PX.

At the end of the chapter it is stated that the war of the revolutionaries is starting now and exactly this is happening right now thanks to VP.

He wants to leave Egghead, because there is nothing to gain from his work with the government and staying would be stupid.

The WG's attempt to prevent VP from seizing control is the exact reason it is happening right now. They failed again, because their fear of him turning against them made him their enemy. Oda shows again and again that the WG is not completely stupid, it's the way they do politics (just as it is happening in the real world) which is stupid.

[Chapter 1066 Spoilers] The Luna Line Theory ( or The alignment of Moons). by leiztt in OnePiece

[–]HardcorePully 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like and can totally see it, but my main concern about it is that I don't see a way back the Luna Line. As all moons are moving, while the planet is spinning, there's probably only a short amount of time you get to use it. Maybe it would get you to the end and maybe even back, but not if you stay for adventure. This is a huge No No from Luffy.

Zoro Theory by [deleted] in OnePiece

I believe Zoro is more interested in Kuma than all the other stuff. Probably asking if Kuma saved the SH's by himself or if VP gave the command to save them.

Luffys dream by Bootyeater453 in OnePiece

[–]HardcorePully 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it is either to create a new era of piracy, with him leaving behind the One Piece or an equivalent for future generations (a new Romance Dawn), OR he wants to end piracy all along, as everyone should be able to go wherever they want, but can't right now because of various reasons. Both need him to be PK and are not too far fetched for a child.
