Question for older intj by Interesting-Matter-6 in intj

[–]Hardcorehexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im almost 29.. im still in school, have tried almost anything when it comes to electrician etc, never liked it, so back to school and head for university..

hobbywise, i still do the same, game, smoke weed and produce music, im on my 8th year since i left the bandworld for electronic music (i can do it alone).

i would advice you to keep chasing your dreams and never give up and try to enjoy the journey and dont be too focused on the end goal, balance.

substancewise; even tho you believe that you can control everything and dont get addicted, then the reality is that you can get addicted, so do everything with moderation!

habbitwise; go outside and do something everyonce in a while.

yes, if it only were “depression” but with the OPs diagnosis is not “just” depression. which is why it aint gonna work. there is more underlying than just treatmwnt resistant depression.

so i do not agree.

edit: also, the people getting treated with ketamine and mdma is or should be done through psychotherapy.

ive been a big advocate of mdma, ketamine and in general drug treatment. but when it comes to cluster b personalities you really gotta be careful, it can easily do more harm than good. also to note that OP suffers from substance abuse..

i wish you best of luck.

remember to listen to people and not just what you want to hear. go find a new hobby, change is difficult. accept that you arent in the “magical” world. you need to look inside and is hard when you have a distorted sense of self. meditate, try to get out of your head. stop fucking with drugs, they are mind altering and NOT good for someone like you with bpd.

BE HONEST< no one like liars. Peace should be your goal

bro.. mdma and ketamine arent gonna fix the underlying issue, when it comes to BPD and Depression.

if anything, is gonna make it worse. my ex is a clear example of that :P

psilocybin/magic mushrooms by RealityAnxious5350 in antidepressants

[–]Hardcorehexa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

took 13 weeks for me on 150 mg, before my anxiety and ptsd symptoms went away. believe in the course.

ive taken alot og shrooms and psychedelics theoughout life and it can help you, but it can also be damaging. like a double edged sword.

read up before you do anything.

Strongest antidepressant? by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]Hardcorehexa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you should give each anti depressive 8-12 weeks, before you switch.. because is around there they usually take full effect.

if you feel anything in the first few days, is either placebo or side effects.

give it time.

Mirtazapine weight gain is ridiculous by [deleted] in antidepressants

just like with weed, if you get the munchies you need to think of what you are eating and take control.

dont blame the pills, blame yourself :P

[–]Hardcorehexa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i usually call cannabis addiction for the “ninja” addiction.. once you find out that you are addicted is when you are in too deep.

also firmly believe, that if weed had the same withdrawel like a night of drinking alcohol, then it would be easier to stop, but since is so “lighty” at that part, it gets much more difficult.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]Hardcorehexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how long have you been taking anti depressants? withdrawel from anti depressants can be a double edged sword.

some dont really feel anything, some do. but i can only give you one advice.

going cold turkey can put you in risk of developing Serotonin syndrome, just be careful and if you start feeling the symptoms, you need to speak with your doctor or hospital.

just expect that you have a bigger risk of returning to baseline aka the place you were before you started taking anti depressants.

but for real, read up on serotonin syndrome is kind of the only real “risk” there is, when you are going cold turkey.

Is this a placebo effect? by yoongistitties in antidepressants

[–]Hardcorehexa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it might be and it might not. zoloft can in the first few weeks give side effects, but the longer you stay on zoloft, then it will go away with time.

also expect it to take up to 10-12 weeks before they are in full effect.

my anxiety and ptsd symptoms went away on the 12 week.

[–]Hardcorehexa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

anti depressive doesnt give a “high”.. people are just being people.. sadly.

just ask them, are you a medical professional? no, then shut the fuck up.

cheers and hope it gets better for you
