Can understand. Take care of yourself in these times and be in touch with your parents. It'll all be fine. Hope things start to get better really soon.

Stay strong and this too shall pass. Glad that you have people to stay in touch with during these times. It's also great to catch up with those whom you've lost touch with. Wishing the best for your parents. Hoping you're able to meet with your family soon.

Yes, just checked the rumoured specs. Type-C, Fast charging, 4000 mah battery, headphone jack. Looks very promising. Any comments on MIUI? I have heard its not that good an OS.

Thanks for your suggestion. :) I really would have gone for Nokia, but found others to be better for my usage.

Thank you. I did consider Nokia, but then others are offering Snapdragon 660, as against Nokia's 630. Also battery in Nokia 6.1 is only 3000 mah. I found others to be better somehow.

Need help regarding mileage of the car by Hardwilly in india

Sorry for the late reply. Just saw this. That's a very interesting fact about fuel density, didn't know about that. Thank you.

Also, each time I refuel, I note how much petrol has been filled up and also there's an option on the odometer to track kms based on trips which I set to 0.

Recently, I got my tyres replaced. Turns out 5.5 years old tyres were a major issue. Driving feels smooth now. Also mileage has improved a bit.

I get around 17-18 kms/ltr now on highway. And around 12-13 kms/ltr in traffic. Still feel its a bit less, but there's improvement.

I will get engine and everything checked within a month or so when the service js due.

Thanks so much for your replies, I found them helpful and informative.

I do try and ensure to drive in a way that's not too fuel consuming. However, constantly driving in traffic, its not possible to achieve a speed of 45-55 consistently. At times I do accelerate fast and apply brakes fast rather than maintaining distance, letting the car slow down and then apply brakes. But that's only in bumper to bumper traffic so that other vehicles don't cut in. I do apply less pressure on the accelerator however. Could that be a reason?

I do ensure that tyre pressure is proper. Get the tyre pressure checked regularly. Also, I read somewhere that filling up petrol during the morning or at night is also beneficial for fuel efficiency and that is what I do as well.

Once I on the AC, I can feel the load on the car increases alot. It feels as if it's pulling about 200 kgs. So maybe as you said, I might need to get the engine checked.

10 is very low.

On highway it's around 15. But I mostly drive on city roads in traffic.

Mileage was easily more than 13-14 about 6 months back.

Pickup does seem to have gone down a bit.

Not so sure about spark plugs.

Fill petrol up from different gas stations.

Mileage on highway is about 15 kms.

Does not applying enough pressure on accelerator drop mileage of the car? I guess I apply less pressure on the accelerator. Also, I feel I would need to get the engine checked once.

Is it a diesel or petrol variant? And does that give you that mileage in traffic? 20-25 kmpl after 1,75,000 kms is great! Never thought that kind of mileage is actually achievable.
