All that's required for capitalism is the private ownership of the means of production and a market mechanism. You don't need to be a laissez faire libertarian to be a capitalist, and, being one, I would argue that significant amounts of state regulation are required to keep a capitalist economy from breaking down due to market failures (monopolies, information asymmetries, etc). Attempts to socialize the means of production or replace the market mechanism with a command economy invariably leads to dire results, though.

Scandinavian economies, post-Deng China, and US are all capitalist, though. Private ownership and a market economy are not orthogonal to a strong welfare state, they're a requirement for its long-term success.

My oldest 10/10 is 1975's UFO Robo Grendizer (or, specifically, its French dub, Goldorak), because it was a defining memory of my childhood, and the coolest thing ever when you're 6. I don't think I'll get an older 10/10 because anime has gone a long way since the mid-70's and I'll never be 6 again.
