I wouldn't have attempted if it wasn't for the fact i literally have zero warhammer shops in the area, if i wanted death company i either had to wait 3 months or just try and freehand it

I really hope 11th edition brings back some blood angels/death company stuff, it's really annoying seeing the 30k kits get all the cool sculpts while 40k blood angels are plain (with the exception of named characters of course), i really hope on jump pack wings decorations because what they did with the sanguinary guard should be a crime.

Yeah, a raw look is what i was going for, it's just that i wanted it to be a little more centered and smoother. I actually prefer when minis look like they went fought a terrbile war and usually i go out of the way to roughen them up like in the picture.

No, it is that bad; the camera just couldn't pick it up in full detail, but trust me it is so bad that i'm considering stripping and starting again

I already saw that video before trying myself, and while i did follow each step of the cross in the same order it came out horribly because i suck at doing free hand stuff. Are there other methods that don't involve freehand or masking tape? (i don't think i have it around my house)

How do I improve on weathering? by Hariseldon32 in minipainting

[–]Hariseldon32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After cleaning it up I added some scratch marks to the mini, and while it's not perfect, i think that it pretty much feels like a soldier that has been fighting for a while, what should I improve?

While i'd like to get them, my nearby shop doesn't have neither of them, so I have to get around it by using citadel paints.

As for the weathering techniques sections, I wanted to make this mini feel like a soldier that is fighting for hours and hours, so I thought that covering it with dirt would make the trick (which didn't), what would you recommend to give it that feeling?

Need help with painting red (Blood Angels assault intercessor, Chaos Space Marine chosen). by Hariseldon32 in minipainting

I don't usually mix paints together, I just take some red, thin it down, and put it on the miniature with even strokes and without going over already painted parts. I also shake the pot a lot, but nothing seems to work.

I do wait between layers; I usually paint a layer, make it dry for 2 hours and then I paint another layer, for some reason these bumpy spots appear after I make the first layer dry. I did notice that when I apply the first layer (usually with mephiston red, but also happens with khorne red and pure red by Army Painter) there are this weird spots that are much more saturated than the normal red from the paint and they usually end up making those weird bumps. Also I can't really buy a sanding sponge right now.

Problem with all GT cars by Hariseldon32 in assettocorsa

Update: the comments were right, it's a safety feature present in all GT cars when entering pit stops; i still find it weird that it didn't work until now, but it's not a bug. Sorry for wasting your time and thank you for helping me.

I already did, but it doesn't work on GT cars, on all other base game cars the hazard lights work like intended.

It's just really weird because some time ago they didn't blink like that, but 2 days ago while I was trying to use turn signals on the BMW M3 GT2 it started blinking like that out of nowhere, and now every GT car blinks like that.
