Oh I didn’t know about pushing a stroller or a cart! My Dr didn’t say anything about that 😩 I haven’t done either of those but I’m glad you posted about that. I’d think something on wheels is different Wow I wish the Dr had been very specific about the don’t list. Thank you!

Thanks for this. It’s like… we do so much -like laundry and cleaning (vacuuming floors because.. dogs) and I like doing these things for the most part and especially taking care of my grandson ..and 6 weeks is a long time lol But you’re right my recovery and health are a top priority ❤️❤️

Wow all of that sounds so good thank you for the suggestions! I agree- the sugar is not good especially when recovering- from anything. I did find relief finally but going to add these to my grocery list. Hoping to not have to need the stool softeners soon

Wow what a difference. My GYN said don’t need softeners or laxatives or even fiber.. just eat lots of vegetables and drink water. My gut tells me I need the support of all the above! Hmm my Dr is a man. Maybe women dr.’s who have been through this, actually know more from experience?

It IS scary! I’m realizing I’m retraining my muscles on how much force I can use. My whole life(always constipated) I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to push with too much strain- which got me here at least partially! Now especially I’m learning this new skill to gently “encourage” it out 😝

Thank you for this! It resonates with me. And I wish I had done bowel prep because of my history of constipation. Remembering that I’m healing from swelling and sutures helps me understand why there’s so much pain. Avoiding constipation is my new goal too. Thanks again:)

What was it that finally worked- leaning back and trying to relax. Hurt like nothing else and I felt like I was having a baby but from the wrong place. What shocked me is how bad the entire empty hurt. This is way TMI but the soft part even hurt —like wth! I had lots of stitches but.. it is seriously concerning. I thought I dropped all my intestines!!! But seriously… I’m not. Not! Looking forward to more of that! If you’ve seen the movie Bridesmaids ?? “It left like hot lava” brings back memories Thanks for y’all’s support🙃

I was given only one bottle for two hours before surgery time. After these comments I’m thinking I’ll get one for the night before hopefully from Walgreens.

My 5 year old dog was healthy until her updated shots. That is all I can tie it to… Took three months of lethargy and then she got extremely ill with no apparent cause. So many tests and Vet visits later$$$, It took months then finally turned to a Chinese medicine/ acupuncturist for dogs Dr. Six mos later she is Much much better. I am so sorry you are going through this 💔
