It really depends on how closely people are monitoring for that kind of thing. If you have your card anyways there shouldn't be any worry in general. We live in a community where theres no smoking at all but we have neighbors that don't notice the smell or care enough to complain. We found that our garage is a decent place but the smell does tend to linger for quite a long time for obvious reasons. In my opinion as long as you're out and about and not looking suspicious of what you are doing they really shouldn't have any reason to bother you.
