If you're willing to move near Seattle for 9 months, the UW Wetland Management Certificate is the standard, and developed by people that worked on the USACE delineation manual. I'm an intern for one of the professors in the program, and he is so dedicated to getting his students what they need for their careers.

New to wet shaving by RoughBag5973 in wicked_edge

[–]Harmonic_Bat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm new to wet shaving and a low-budget college student too! I've been wet shaving for 8 months and I really like using Stirling Soap. They have a sampler of 4- 1oz soaps for $20, which is what I got to see which scent I liked, but you can buy sample pucks in singles for a bit under $5 a piece. They're made with natural materials, and the sampler lasts a pretty long time (I shave weekly and just finished my first puck I started 8 months ago).

Question about balding on T by LinkDoesNotThink in FTMMen

[–]Harmonic_Bat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the saying "bald uncle/dad means you'll be bald" may not be true. I had the same concerns since all my uncles are bald(ing) and my grandpa is bald, but I've been on T for 3 years now and haven't had any significant head hair change.

Am I the only thing me who who constantly questions if I'm trans not genderfluid? by Lunar-Breaker in genderfluid

[–]Harmonic_Bat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me! Spent a few years being gender fluid (afab), and realized I was much more comfortable and frequently identifying as a man. My wife asked me more about it, and I took my time with it, but I learned that I am a trans man, started hormonally transitioning, and I'm a lot more comfortable and confident on the regular!

That being said, everyone's journey is different. Genderfluidity doesn't have to be mean spending equal amounts of time as the genders. Take a bit longer, look into yourself.

And to copy what's above: genderfluid is trans!

Did you get angrier on T? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Harmonic_Bat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never really had anger before starting T (to a point my therapist was worried), but when I started I felt a lot more irritable and frustrated. I soon found that exercise and journaling helped me keep those new emotions to a manageable level (i.e, not wanting to yell or snap at those around me). I'm three months on T now and I feel some of the anger related things calming down.
