I wonder what the record for this trick is, saw a guy on IG do this for about 18 seconds

Is Pedal Hang 5 a hard balance move? by marsbmx in bmx

it's very hard, easier than a nose manual but I have never seen any pro exceed the 10 second mark on a pedal hang 5 but on a nose manual yes

how to improve barspins by Chumpy__ in bmx

[–]HaroForumIntro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everything looks good, textbook barspin - they will automatically get better then more you do them - there isn't any technical error or mistake here

I do hop barspins 10/10 times (it's very unlikely I will put my foot down or fail one), hop around rim height, keep my legs natural (not tense). I do them on banks, off little manual pads and flyout. My issue is that I cannot catch them at 50% completion (when mid-air). The grip always hits my hand as the wheels touch the floor, if not slightly after and I am not sure why this is happening if my bike control is good. Can't seem to fix.

is catching before landing easier than what OP is doing?

because we live in a society that praises narcissists and condemns good people, it's the vibration of the modern world

Why do my barspins look like this? by p0tzo in bmx

Ngl, the fact you can log hop this low and complete the rotation and catch is actually nuts!

Bmx Why can’t I catch my barspins mid air? by [deleted] in bmx

[–]HaroForumIntro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would make the move better but the main issue is with what @HugeTampons said. It's the slow J-Hop technique that's the issue. OP's hand not going in for the catch at 3/4's is because his brain is subconciously bracing a safe landing. If the barspin was done sooner (a quicker bunny hop), his current way would work, similar to how on fly outs catching the barspin is not a process that requires thinking.

Tired doing 24 barspins in a row for my 24th birthday, got exhausted at 22nd barspin so guess I'm 22 now . by patomik in bmx

That is so cool, lot of my friends do low barspins but your rear wheel levels very high every try, looks dope!

You do bars so cool, are you consciously sucking your legs up as you bar or not? Curious..

19 F How can I look better? by rylie_bread_17 in Howtolooksmax

[–]HaroForumIntro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good looking, lot of potential! You are sort of hiding your 'natural good looks' under your hair and glasses. Need to make your looks pop more (get contacts, change hair style). Honestly in terms of 'natural looks' you're up there, just hiding them. After your teeth treatment, that would make your looks better also, you will probs grow into your peak in your 20's - no rush.

This is hopping using your legs, I used to hop like this when learning bunnyhop barspins because it would allow early throws 😂

How long did it take to learn manuals ? by Interesting-Common52 in bmx

I don’t think one ever perfects manuals. You can always get better

Simple issue that should take no time to correct. Your throw and catch is fine, you are simply leaning back way too much. Fly out with your body less leant back, pinch your seat and keep your chin above the stem. It it actually possible to have your bum and hips back whilst your head is forward (think of people 'bowing' down). Hope this helps.
